Shape Up! is a shape game designed for very young children, but parents and older children will love it too! Simply trace around the simple shapes or use the paint bucket to fill them in. Good app for beginner tracing

As an OT I have used this app with children from 2-5 years old. This app is good for beginner tracing but you don't have to stay even remotely close to the lines to get the app to draw the line you are tracing. Most standards are that a child must stay within 1/4 inch do the line to be successful at tracing. A good update might be to allow settings where you can change how far away from the line the child can trace before it creates the line (1/4 inch, 1/2 inch, etc.). Children are motivated to see what the shapes will become and how they will move which is important but the settings need to be stricter as to how far away from the line the children need to trace.
