The most important criteria was "how well does it uninstall?"I chose an app to uninstall and brought it up in this, and in my regular CleanApp. It appeared to get everything, but CleanApp SHOWS you the associated files, and where they're located, that will be deleted, along with the app...this doesn't. One uninstall test doesn't convince me that this is something I'll use for that purpose.The Trash feature seems pointless as you can just open your Trash and look to see what's in there. CleanApp actually monitors your Trash and will alert when it gets to a preset volume (your choice as to what this is); this only shows what's in it.The User Downloads feature also seems kind of pointless as I can open my Downloads folder and see what's in it, then delete things if I want to.This was free, today, but for the regular price of $2.99, this is probably an okay app.Caveat for casual Mac users: Just because it shows you all the System Caches, System Logs, User Logs, etc. does NOT mean you should touch them. Deleting some of these could make your system completely inoperable. Do NOT touch them unless you know EXACTLY what the consequences will be. System tweakers are DANGEROUS in the wrong hands (anyone that's not very expert).I'll probably keep this for scanning purposes but won't be using it to uninstall, empty my Trash or delete any files. I'll stick with CleanApp for that....and at the person who said this app deleted all his movies. Um, no it didn't; YOU did.

I'm a photographer and a writer and have many duplicates, so I needed a really good program to help me find and delete the additional files that I keep making whenever I edit. I've been searching for a good duplicate finder program that is not complicated, doesn't cost a fortune, and does what it's supposed to--this is it! I also had a program to clean my mac, and a separate memory freer program. This does both of those things efficiently, too. It also lets you choose what items to open at log-in and shows your disk usage so you don't have to hunt around in separate places. Five important features all in one easy to use program. You can't ask for more than that. It has a very simple and easy to understand UI, which is important to me because I don't have the time to fumble around and figure out how to use something that should be simple. Other programs I've tried look pretty but that's about it. They've either been too complicated or didn't do what they were supposed to. I am extremely happy with CleanGenius Pro, and you can't beat the price. I highly recommend!

All in all this works pretty well at cleaning your drives. Cleared out about 20GB so far. But, be carefull, if you don't know what it is that you are deleting don't deleted it. There is a posibility that you could mess up your system. Best is to backup your data before cleaning and go after the big stuff first that you recognize. Think that really bugs me about this program is that I can not resize the application window. It needs a full screen mode so you can see more o the file path to compare duplicate files. This should be an easy fix so hoping it will be done soon. Would help make it much more usable for me.
