This is a superior version of the classic 'lines' game. Another company's version which I have on my Nook Color has fewer options and can be frustrating during play. Lines 2 is great on all counts. The graphics and colors are nicely presented in a clean and intuitive interface. You can even go to blackscreen if you choose to. The next round of balls set to materialize are previewed in miniature on the grid which allows players to strategize their moves better than many games of this type that don't offer this feature. The movement animations are smooth and swift. And, you can choose between aligning 4, 5, or 6 balls to trigger ball removals (effectively playing at easy, medium, and hard difficulty levels). This is a great game to be able to pick up and play on the fly. For my money, it is a good value at $1.99....giving many hours of fun for the price of a cup of coffee! Lastly, when I contacted the game developer with a minor inquiry, I received a prompt and helpful response. If this type of game and the illustrations you see here at the Mac App Store appeal to you, then you can rest assured that Lines 2 is a well designed and executed game.
