Description
The Crossword and Anagram Solver helps you when you get stuck on a crossword:
• Enter the letters you already know, and the blank squares you don't, and let the app do the rest
• Solve anagrams
• Shuffle anagram letters manually, to give you a hint without handing you the answer immediately
• Look up words in the thesaurus, and get lists of synonyms
• Get definitions of words (built-in, or using DuckDuckGo's online dictionary)
Basic crossword solving is always free. The advanced features require a paid upgrade (after a free trial to try them out).

The app uses a combination of the UK Advanced Cryptics Dictionary and the WordNet® dictionary to find suitable words to fit in the grid.

Version 4.1
This should fix the problem where upgrades didn't activate properly. (You may need to tap the "I've already paid" button to re-activate your purchases.)
I'm so sorry that the last update broke things so badly. I did test it thorough but something went wrong when it went live on the App Store.

Great simple helpful app
Just suggests possible words so you've still got to think about the answers. Quick access to definitions as well. A relatively no-frills app perfect for getting unstuck quickly. I tried a few similar apps but this eventually emerged as my favorite.
Great aid!
I use this on Wordscapes when I get stuck. The letters are there but staring at them after a while I start to go crazy I just put one in here and the number of spaces I have and search away. 9 out of 10 times I find what I’m looking for

Was much quicker without freeze frames so often plus sometimes we’re over run with adds.
Overall I’m afraid app is slipping and isn’t as enjoyable as it once was.
