New: blow the whistle with Siri, the Action button or a shortcut. Your Apple Watch now whistles on its own when your iPhone isn't nearby.
Blow Whistle turns your iPhone into a crisp, realistic whistle, no hardware needed. Trigger it your way: blow into the mic, shake your device, tap the screen, or remotely trigger it from your Apple Watch. Perfect for getting attention, coaching, pranks, or quick sound effects.
Dial in exactly how you want it to respond with adjustable microphone sensitivity and full volume control. Pick your favorite whistle sound and, if you like, display a live mic level meter for visual feedback.
Features:
- Blow-to-whistle with adjustable mic sensitivity
- Tap or shake to trigger, no mic required
- Apple Watch support: trigger your iPhone from your wrist, or whistle right from the watch when your iPhone is out of reach
- Siri, Shortcuts and Action button support (iOS 16 or later)
- Choose from multiple whistle sounds
- Volume control for any environment
- Optional on-screen mic level meter
- Works offline, lightweight, and fast
Privacy-Friendly:
- Microphone access is only used for the blow-to-whistle feature. You can still tap, shake, or use Apple Watch without granting mic permission.
Note:
Blow Whistle is for fun and everyday use. It is not a substitute for safety devices or emergency signaling.
Compatibility:
- iPhone and iPad
- Apple Watch (requires paired iPhone)
Whistle starts and then won't stop no matter how many times you hit the silence button. I imagine that was meant as a joke??? Why is it no one can just make a simple app that will allow you to push a button and make a whistle sound that stops when you release the screen button??!!!
Just ok...

This app would be great if you had the option to turn off the "blow" choice as well... Just holding the phone caused it to constantly whistle, which wasn't helpful when using it to start a PE race! Even with the sensitivity bar, it was either all or nothing.
Doesn't work properly
HalfDozenPlusOne
I purchased this app for my iPhone 6 Plus to help a young child do the HPVT. Every little sound in the room made the whistle go off. Blowing, however, did not.
Does what it says.

Sensitivity could be stronger, even with the adjustment bar, but it does what it says.
