New in 3.45: GPS danger alerts with a countdown next to your notes, Calco to write over your scanned notebook, and a free iCodriver account for iNotebook pro.
iNotebook pro by iCodriver is the pacenote notebook for rally codrivers, on iPad. Write your notes by hand during the recce, then read them and time the stage in the race, always in your own handwriting.
NEW IN 3.45
• Danger alerts (GPS): mark puddles, junctions, rocks… with one tap during the recce. In the race, a countdown in meters next to your notes shows how far the next point is, turning yellow, orange and red as you get closer, with beeps. Import points from iRoadbook or any KMZ/KML file and export them as KMZ. Needs GPS: a Wi-Fi + Cellular iPad or an external GPS.
• Calco: open your scanned paper notebook (.calco) and see each line as a faint background to write over it. Create calcos from photos or a PDF of your notebook at pacenotes.icodriver.com.
• Free iCodriver account: register your iNotebook pro to get access to pacenotes.icodriver.com (Calco, notes editor, My handwriting), early access to new features and exclusive new iCodriver apps for codrivers. Registration is optional.
• Lasso: circle strokes to select them, then move or resize them.
• Look & feel: Classic or Notebook (paper-style grid), on screen and in the PDF.
• Set start time: enter the official start time and the chronometer starts by itself, with voice announcements and beeps.
• Full screen on every iPad, and a quick guide in English, Spanish, French, Italian and Portuguese.
EDIT MODE
• Write with Apple Pencil or your finger: pressure-sensitive, smoothed strokes and palm rejection (Pencil Only).
• Four ink colours, six pen widths, highlighter and eraser.
• Line editor: insert, move, copy, duplicate and delete lines or whole blocks.
• Split and stop markers on any line.
RACE MODE
• Big, high-contrast lines that you scroll with a swipe; quick edit with a long press.
• Chronometer with split times (manual, by distance or by line), master clock sync and a service park countdown timer.
• Three GPS odometers, including a countdown to the end of the stage.
• Compare against a reference run.
ORGANIZE AND SHARE
• Championships, rallies and stages, with your notes for every event.
• Export a stage as PDF or JSON, a whole rally as a ZIP, or a stage together with its calco. Share via AirDrop, Files or Mail, and open your notes on pacenotes.icodriver.com.
• Left- or right-hand layout, metric or imperial units.
Danger alerts and odometers are an additional aid: they do not replace the official roadbook or the crew's judgement.
Built by codrivers, for codrivers. Used in more than 110 countries since 2012.
