ローマ字チャレンジはApp Store教育ランキングで第3位になりました。
「ローマ字チャレンジ」はひらがなが書けてもローマ字を書けない小学校低学年児童向けに作られた、ローマ字練習アプリです。ローマ字表セクションでは基本的な文字の書き方を学びます。文章セクションではローマ字を使って文章を書きます。用意された例題は徐々に難易度が上がるので、文章を書くごとに達成感があります。
iPad、iPhone、パソコンなど、アプリやブラウザを使用する際は主にローマ字入力が使われていますが、ひらがなを覚えたお子さんがコンピュータでの遊びの際にローマ字入力は保護者の方が手助けするという場面が多くあります。そのようなお子さんのローマ字入力学習の手助けをするのが「ローマ字チャレンジ」です。かわいいどうぶつやこんちゅう、みんなが好きな食べ物やフルーツ、かっこいいのりものが登場するアプリはお子様の興味をかりたて、楽しく遊びながら142のローマ字の綴りを覚えていきます。「ローマ字チャレンジ」では小学校教育で採用している訓令式ローマ字を学ぶので小学校での授業の際にも役立ちます。
コンピュータを活用することは日常のことであり、ローマ字習得は情報発信及び取得や自己表現のツールとして不可欠のことです。文字入力方法はローマ字入力以外にかな入力もありますが、覚えるキー数の少ないローマ字入力は早くタイプするときには断然有利です。またインターネットのウェブサイト名やメールアドレスなどアルファベットを入力する必要があり、キーボード上のキーの位置を覚えておくことはこれらの入力時にとても便利です。

・「しらべる」モードはクリックしたひらがながローマ字で表示します
・「まなぶ」モードは赤枠で表示されたひらがなをローマでタイプします
・「テスト」モードではローマ字が表示されないので力試しです
■ 文章セクション
・ひらがなで示された文章をローマ字で書きます
（どうぶつチャレンジは１から50、グルメチャレンジ・のりものチャレンジ・フルーツチャレンジ・こんちゅうチャレンジは１から25の例題）
・「れんしゅう」モードは画面にローマ字が表示されているので正しい文字を覚えられます
・「チャレンジ」モードはローマ字が表示されません
・正しく書いた文章には印が付くので習得状況がわかります
