I’ve tried a few other Spade games and the IAs were so bad at playing you could not really enjoy the game. With Hardwood the IAs make smart plays like an experienced real player would. The graphics and play mechanics are first rate as well. If you want a spades game this is it.

Been playing their Euchre (which is my fav) hearts and spades for years. Wish the multiplayer was like it was b4. Now it costs to play a rated game and theirs not many people playing the regular games. I used to have a tourney room and host games several years ago. The bots could use some work in the programming in the single games. Some of them do some stupid things humans wouldn’t do. But in general I like their layout and the simple way it is to change rules and types. The player avatars also need an update, they are the same now as they were years ago. If your gonna add charges, you better keep upgrading the game itself. Hope you read this HARDWOOD DEVS!

It’s highly customizable, the IAPs aren’t mandatory to have a blast playing, but when you do want to spend a little, they’re affordable and provide fun perks! Great stats, multi-player, offline mode, just about anything... I definitely recommend!!
