The use of AI

Salam alaikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuhu. I hope this reaches you in the best of Iman. While I love this app and have been a fan of it for many years now, the recent use of AI in a video promoting the new Fajr alarm (great idea btw) is something I do not stand for. While I understand that the Sajda team is catering to many languages and cultures, I truly think the use of AI is unnecessary. If you put up a post on instagram looking for volunteers to advertise it in Uzbek, Turkish, or any language, I’m sure people would be willing to help and preserve the intimacy of sharing Ibada, as this is what Sajda is about 🤗. To be perfectly clear, I’m against AI as is it with detrimental to our environment and we as Muslims should be mindful of the resources (in this case, water). I hope this review reaches you with sincerity and love and only good wishes and support. May Allah preserve the team and your legacy and your work.

Mashallah I just downloaded it and it’s a very unique and beautiful app. However some additional changes might make it even more better. The azaan are slightly misplaced under the wrong name. For example the Adhan under Ahmed al nufays is actually sheikh Ali Mullah , the official muatthin of masjid al haraam. I would also love to see the the Athan of masjid al Aqsa to be added by sheikh Firaz Qazzaz and Azzam Dweik, the two official muatthin of masjid al aqsa so people still have a touch with al aqsa.Other than that , because I also know Urdu, the official urdu translation needs to be changed as the one provided by the app is considered controversial. It can be replaced by syed maududi who is universally accepted or by Darussalam which is also universally accepted.Other than that , I hope the Quran reading is also available in a full page mushaf format soon inshallah.Wish the best, May Allah bless you guys and accept your efforts. This is my absolute favorite Muslim app so far even with the understanding that it is lacking in a lot of ways. But I just love love the interface, minimal and beautiful design, the ease of the on/off alarms, the play Dua after adhan, salawat counter and all the widgets, just everything. That said, if I had a wish list I would love a prayer counter/tracker with easy way to track if you were on time or late, maybe a good deeds counter like the Dhikr one, a simple period tracker for sisters would be incredible, and would love a way to be able to track the non obligatory prayers 🤍 thank you!!

But I just love love the interface, minimal and beautiful design, the ease of the on/off alarms, the play Dua after adhan, salawat counter and all the widgets, just everything. That said, if I had a wish list I would love a prayer counter/tracker with easy way to track if you were on time or late, maybe a good deeds counter like the Dhikr one, a simple period tracker for sisters would be incredible, and would love a way to be able to track the non obligatory prayers 🤍 thank you!!
