This is perfect for those long distance relationships. My husband is away for a year for certain circumstances and this app is perfect for sharing pictures of our daily routine and life away from each other. We don’t have social media except for Facebook, but we were looking for something photo oriented. We tried Google photos and to our luck we shared 3 photos and then it said we reached our limit. So I started looking for an app that was free to hopefully help us through this tough time being away for so long, and I came across this app. It’s literally perfect. You can take Live Photos and videos, you can put a caption in the images/videos you capture and share, you can comment and even react with an emoji to the other persons photos. You can even make more albums if you want to share photos with friends and family, or possibly just to make different albums for different occasions. I do not know if it costs anything for more than one album, I’d like to say no? But I have only used it for one album. There is no limit on the photos/videos which is prefect and what we were looking for as I like to share every detail lol! It also doesn’t automatically save it to your photos, which is a bonus since it doesn’t take up your photo storage. And if you even want, you can save the photos to your camera roll. Even my husband likes it and he doesn’t like taking pictures often. It’s definitely keeps us included in each other’s lives as we are so far from each other. And a bonus feature is anytime someone uploads a photo or reacts to it, it notifies you, so you never miss something being uploaded. If you’re looking for something to get you through long distance that isn’t social media and is private, this is the app. Now I wouldn’t put anything explicit as I’m sure the creators can see the content, but in the way we use it as sharing our lives together it’s perfect!

I started using this app about a year ago when I traveled overseas with friends. We all uploaded our photos during our trip. It is fun to go back and look at our memories in one private album only we see. Since then, I have become a huge fan and use the app to privately share photos with me family living far away. We also used the app for our engagement party recently and will set up a PhotoCircle album for all our guests at our wedding. That way, everyone will get to upload the photos they take during our wedding and we will be able to see them instantly and capture photos all our guests took for a lifetime of memories. Love, love, love PhotoCircle! Update: We now share photos of our son with family and friends. We literally have his whole life documented in one album. PhotoCircle allows us to maintain privacy and control who sees our son’s photos. I love the new version of the app. Very modern and much faster. One minute long videos are amazing!

I've had Facebook and Instagram. Originally used those apps to share pictures with friends and family. But, before long I was "friends" with lots of people I really didn't want to share my pictures with. Most of the time, I just wanted the original small group of people to see what I posted. This app solves all the problems! No one can "search" me out and send a friend request. The only people in a circle are the people I invite in. I have several circles. All with different groups and all with clear boundaries and no crossing over. One with friends, one with immediate family, and one with the whole family. You can have a "work friends" circle etc.... Best of all no hurt feelings when you don't "friend" someone. Easy peasy. Best social media app ever! Thanks. Never change it!

I use this app for organizations I am a part of! I love the convenience but I cannot get over how many ads pop up. I understand that ads are expected with the free version, but the frequency and placement of them is particularly inconvenient. Many video ads will pop up randomly, even if I’ve only had the app open for about 10 seconds. Then I have to wait so many seconds for the “X” to appear to be able to close it. I find myself getting frustrated and just not browsing photos that others post because of the amount of ads. Of course, ads are not going to disappear for the free version since I do not want to pay for the app, but it they could reduce the amount of intrusive ads that would make the app more enjoyable to use. I hate pop-up ads, especially when they cannot be closed right away. Possibly a rectangular ad banner at the very top or bottom of the screen would be more out of the way and allow for a more enjoyable app use experience.
