The Word of God App Is Back!
Our sincere apologies for the delay in fixing the app, and thank you to everyone who gave it a try. We hope you will give it another chance.
This is a simple, one-click app that allows you to read or listen to God’s Word daily, even in the midst of life’s chaos. Whether you are listening first thing in the morning, while working, or while driving in your car, the Word of God is always within reach.
Each day’s readings are available as soon as you open the app, with no need to go searching for them. If you would like to listen to a past or future reading, simply tap the calendar, select a date, and read or listen anytime.
The readings are available in two formats:
• A continuous version where all the readings appear together
• A tabbed version where you can tap each tab to access the individual readings
Want a larger font? Just tap the Aa button to increase or decrease the text size.
The liturgical celebration title is available for those interested. If you prefer not to see it, simply tap the X to hide it. Want it back? Just tap the title icon next to the calendar to display it again.
We hope you are able to hear God’s Word speak to you and experience His love, mercy, compassion, and consolation amid the daily battles of life.

I gotta say, it has been a while since the app has been functioning. I came back and checked in— only to find my favorite app revived. Word of God is great for any Christian or people who are interested in the faith. The app is very helpful to me during Mass— and I almost forgot to say I LOVE how I can listen to the daily readings. Anyways, if you’re looking for something spark your faith or want to read your Bible-look no further— this is your app. Its simplicity is what we need in 2026. Thank you, 3JMJ, this app was just what I was looking for— and just in time for Lent!

This app is excellent and it is just what I was looking for. I went through many poor options until I found this one. Having the option to listen to or to read the daily readings is wonderful! If you choose to listen to the readings the voices are real people that speak clearly and at a perfect speed. Not too slow and not too fast. You also have the option to read the daily readings while listening to them. I would highly recommend this to anyone!

I love this App, I tell all my dear friends to download it. I listen to the daily readings thanks to how easy it is. I love the diversity of the readers! Real people; they read with great love for the Word of God! If I could give it a higher rating I would!
It only works when there is only one reading option

Unfortunately apples platform is crap and developers here cannot keep up. This app used to work well but then Apple ruined it’s IOS which cause this app to fail. When on any given day there is a choice for year A or year C the ability to click on the year and then read your choice is not an option. The link is dead. The listen option works but also only for the first 10-15 seconds. Additionally Saturday vigil mass for the following Sunday is often non functional. Really hope this gets fixed soon but I may delete the app because now it is not working.
