The goal of Police Book, “Street Intel” edition, is to provide a fast and SIMPLE solution for law enforcement officers to be able to keep and search memory-refreshing information about his/her contacts on the street. Many officers keep a secondary notebook, containing information about street level dealers, gang members, and the like. This app aims to replace the officer’s secondary notebook, while adding the ability retain images, and to quickly search and organize this information. This app is not intended to function as a full featured field notebook (there’s an app for that).
I'm a beat officer and I use this app. everyday on the job. I have numerous frequent flyers; and have need of accessing their info. quickly. If you call them by their first name on the street; they wonder how you remember. Also it's less hassle to do a booking ticket when you have their information in front of you. I would like to request the option of importing photos! I would also like to know if this data will transfer with the app when it's time to up grade to a new phone? So Harkins Design give us a upgrade and let us save our data. I'll then give you a five star and pay for the update!It would be worth $5.99 to me!

It's simple and works for what it is. My wish list item would be to allow photos to be imported from the photo library. Currently you can only take a photo live. This requires you to have the app open to take the photo (not ideal). If the person is not in front of you at that time you are relegated to taking a picture of a printed image. An easy feature that should have been included, as it is on most apps that have a photo option.

I recently started using the street intel app and it has been extremely useful. The app it set up in a manner that allows quick access for quick identification of individuals who are problematic on the streets. Easy way to keep track of all the "frequent flyers"! Look forward to more apps by Harkins design!

Pretty handy app but was very disappointed when I discovered I can't add a photo previously taken or import one (like from an email). Would def. like to see that available soon in an update!
