A simple and focused app to teach you fast typing with ten fingers.
Typing with all ten fingers without looking at the keyboard, or touch-typing, is important not only to type fast. It also frees your mind for what you want to say.
This application teaches touch-typing by showing you which finger needs to go where, and rehearses the movements for each finger and each key individually. It covers more and more keys of the keyboard with each lesson, until you know all of them without a another thought.
Your training and progress is made visible with charts for your accuracy and increasing speed. It is made even more detailed and accessible by creating keyboard heatmaps of main indicators, like error rate, WPM and keystrokes.
This version supports U.S., German, British, Canadian English, and Australian keyboard layout.

Great app for learning to type fast

After trying a ton of typing apps I finally found the one that is working great for me. It has a built in mentronome (awesome feature), a great clean UI, and I’m very happy that it quizzes parenthesis, odd characters, and the like. Great app!
Good, But Not Great

PROS: Beautiful interface, right drawer extends from the main interface to display all the lessons, skip ahead or backward lessons.CONS: Too expensive. Typos are highlighted in annoying red, no ability to continue typing unless you delete your mistakes. In typing school, they tell you to keep on typing without using the delete key. This way, you gauge your errors and steadily improve naturally over time. WPM is not calculated correctly. I'm getting 40 WPM. In contrast, I'm getting 60 WPM using Mavis Beacon and Type Fu, both available on the Mac AppStore. Please fix the error issue and the WPM issue.OVERALL: Good software to help you become a better typist. User-friendly interface. A few improvements can be made.
