EXPERIENCE TIME DIFFERENTLY
Most calendars still put time in boxes. But life doesn’t move in boxes — it flows in cycles.
CircleTime is a calendar planner built for those cycles. Your schedule appears as a smooth circle that moves with the sun, moon, and weather. It feels natural because it follows the rhythm you already live in.
The circular view gives clarity at a glance. You see when the day begins, when light fades, when routines fit, and when rest comes. Less overwhelm, more focus. A calendar that finally feels like time itself.
• Plan your day in sync with the sun, moon, and weather.
• See your entire schedule as a smooth circle, not boxes.
• Turn your Apple Activity Rings into time arcs that show how you really move through the day.

After wrapping my head around a circle vs a grid, after getting used to the view, the calendar because a highly informative display of your time. I frequently add in everything I want to do on a day, but seeing how the circle quickly fills up and events overlap each other, it’s clear that expectations may be a little high. The visual display helps to set realistic plans and offers insights into habits and recurring events over time helping you plan better and consider what things are important for you. Looking forward to hopefully seeing tasks on the calendar in the future which would help pull information together.

Thank you for the detailed review! We’re glad you’ve gotten used to the circular view and that it helps you see how your day fills up and plan more realistically. That’s exactly our goal: to provide a clear, useful overview of your time and habits. Tasks/reminders are indeed planned for a future update. Thanks again for sharing your experience!
It’s a subscription now

I’d buy it if it were a one time purchase. But it’s hard to justify a subscription. Update in regards to the developer reaching out to explain their reasoning for moving to a subscription. See the thing is I actually hadn’t updated the app in about a year to avoid the subscription. I was forced to when I upgraded to a new phone. The original purchase app was good enough for me. It let me add events and track dates in a convenient format. From a consumer point of view further updates were largely unnecessary and if it means moving to ‘software as a service,’ unwanted. As it stands now the free app version does nothing for me. I can’t enter events anymore without upgrading. Long story short, from the consumer side this was a major step back. I no longer have a use for this app. My need is for the long haul ie. years. And I have no interest in paying for the app a dozen times over in that time. Updates were not necessary.

Thank you for rating and the chance to explain why we introduced a subscription.CircleTime was removed from sale a couple of years ago, and hasn't had a proper update for new devices even longer. In order to bring it back from the dead and ensure the same thing doesn't happen again, we had to come up with a more reliable funding - one that doesn't involve tracking our users, selling their personal data and bombarding them with pesky ads.At certain point developers realized that 'pay once, use forever' model had become unsustainable. It may have worked in the dawn of mobile applications when development was simpler, shorter and less expensive. It still works for certain products, such as games that you play once and then forget about, but not so much for productivity apps that require continuous updates for reliable functioning. Comparative apps have already adopted subscription based model (a.k.a. 'software as a service'), and it should come as no surprise that we did the same, albeit late. From a user perspective- if I enjoy using the app and wish to see it evolve and grow into something truly remarkable, I'll gladly support it by subscribing. Especially if it's a developer who responds to users' feedback and includes their suggestions whenever possible. :)
Very efficient

The CircleTime app is a sleek and efficient tool for organizing your schedule. Its user-friendly interface simplifies event creation and navigation. The intuitive design allows seamless syncing across devices, ensuring you stay on top of your commitments. However, occasional syncing delays can be frustrating. The app's minimalist aesthetic enhances focus, but some users may miss advanced customization options. Despite minor drawbacks, CircleTime is a reliable companion for efficient time management, offering a streamlined experience for users seeking a straightforward calendar solution. More visibility for CircleTime tg@chiliaalex

Thanks so much for the jaw-dropping review! It makes us very happy that the app is to your liking, and will strive to make it even better!
Lovely, but Needs Widgets
ChrisMangyWolf
This app is very beautiful, but I find myself returning to Apple’s free calendar app because of the easily accessible widgets, which can be added to the Home Screen and quickly referenced for scheduling reminders. I think adding several widget options for CircleTime, such as a moon phase widget and a widget each for day/week/month, will definitely make this app worth the sub. Without Home Screen widgets, I find that it is easy to forget I even have this app (one that I paid for) installed! It was for this reason I gave it 3 stars. However, I did subscribe for the year in the hopes that developers might be encouraged (or perhaps already have plans) to add this feature! All and all, this is a visually-pleasing app with a lot of potential! (pagan Wheel of the Year theme, anyone?)
Developer Response
Thanks so much for the extensive feedback! We actually do plan to make a few widgets by end of the year, so your timing is perfect. As for the pagan themes, we will get more into that later, but for now - just in case you missed it - there is an option in Preferences to replace calendar and clock digits with Nordic runes, among some others. We thank you for the annual subscription and will try our best that you don’t get disappointed.
