This app far out does any other weather app I’ve used and I’ve tried quite a few for my area in southwest Colorado, which has the most unreliable weather forecasting around this app is most effective than any other. I cleared all the other apps off my phone. It wasn’t worth it they were never correct. This one is spot on about 95% of the time
Good presentation, but…

The weather information presented is comparable to other weather apps, and it’s fairly easy to find the data I’m looking for. I don’t think the 14-day feature is worth anything, with human meteorology in its current state, but I find the “science” articles interesting. This is where my huge problem begins: The user is soon presented with a dialogue that forbids entry unless ALL privacy invasions are accepted. The dialogue shows options to select various portions to allow or reject, but no answer permits the user to continue to further articles. This feature is clearly not acceptable, and I deem it dishonest. The list of entities being approved for access to vaguely-described personal data is in the hundreds. I don’t mind being spied on within limits, but this dialogue seems to say, “Make me pregnant by strangers and r@pe my children.”I refuse.

A former version of this app worked well. I tried to download a new version and attempt to set the cookie options. However, you cannot really deny cookies, because Meteored boasts 788 “partners” it wants to sell your personal information to, and the app forces you to select a cookie for each and every one of those partners to “refuse” … but it resets itself before you can finish refusing cookies, making it impossible to control the cookies. There is no “deny all“ option. This to me is extremely evil. Why is Meteored so intent on planting cookies in my device?Another thing, Meteored does not allow me to enter weather stations in Mexico, which is a problem since I live there. If you want weather information from Meteored, it’s probably best to go to its website or use another weather service. The app is no good.

I'm sorry for your inconvenience. Unfortunately, in order to display advertising cookies need to be accepted. You also have the option to subscribe and remove advertising, so cookies are not necessary.These are the two options we have to monetize the app and keep working on it.

Had this app for many years now, mostly love it for its accuracy and look. The new update changed the appearance and the colors.. Maybe it's something simple but that was a big part of why I used it. Now it looks as any other app. Prob going to start looking for another one soon.
