The Evidence Based Observation Tool is part of a service provided by Evidence Based Educational Consulting.
The EBO Tool is a time sample reporting process which provides the means to collect reliable and objective data on interactions in the classroom.
It allows a trained observer to collect data on classroom interactions, cognitive levels, teacher-student relationships, student engagement and work completion.
The collected data can be partially edited for up to two days. Summaries can be viewed within the tool and a PDF copy is generated for discussion with the teacher.
The data which is collected is the starting point in the coaching of each teacher. The EBO Tool is designed to ensure that coaching will be tailored specifically to the requirements of each teacher in order to improve teaching and learning.
