I just downloaded it on my iPhone to replace my battery leeching Apple news app, and just from watching it a couple of days, I have to say that I’m really really pleased. Yes it mainly covers Europe (all reporting is in English) but also covers elsewhere, and I’m not bombarded with provincial American news to the exclusion of anything else that’s happening on the planet. sometimes you’re in the mood for Talking Heads, and then other times you just want the straight news and nothing else. I’m enjoying following the EU Parliament as well as what’s going in the UK and in Paris. Keep up the great work! If you like good news programming, I highly recommend this one, along with haystack news which offers your choice in a spread of the majors ) ABC, CBS, NBC, NewsNation, MSNBC, CNN, Al Jazeera, Scripps Howard, and so much more.

No option to disable banner notifications?

I like the app but there is no option to disable banner notifications. I only have banner notifications enabled for a few apps that I absolutely need to see the notification for. Euro News would be one of the ones I disable banner notifications for. Unfortunately, there is no banner option under the notifications screen for Euro News so you’re not able to unselect receiving banner notifications.

Max Text Size is Tiny

I still cannot read the articles because the text is tiny on my iPhone. If I go to the menu to change the text size to extra large, it remains the same tiny size. I already sent feedback on this and was told they would take it into account for future updates. I am using the most recent update and still can’t read anything except for the headline and the byline. I really want to read Euronews articles, but it’s impossible even with glasses. Please fix this or at least allow us to zoom into the article and scroll through the lines of text. I can’t scroll through the lines of text without it flipping to another article.

Thanks, I missed the coverage I get from Europe that frequently doesn’t make it to other news wires.This is a very good, simple news app without a lot of nonsensical features or obtrusive adverts. Coverage is tight and frequently includes video clips.I hope the recent NBC Universal purchase of a 25% stake in EuroNews doesn’t ruin it, but I fear it’s days are numbered. Plans are to integrate it into NBC news. Enjoy it while you can.
