I just got this app and it's amazing. I have a 4 year old autistic son and they use a system just like this at his school but he thinks it's a game, lol. I have to teach him how to use it.

This is a great idea for kids. The only thing I would want different is if there was an option to take pictures and add your own icons. Just to add more variety. Not all kids like the same things.
