Rebuilt from the ground up: every address Mail has ever seen, in one fast list. Find the people missing from your contacts and add them in a click.
Mail remembers every address you have ever exchanged messages with. MailContacts turns that hidden list into something useful: see at a glance who is missing from your contacts, tidy up names, and add the people who matter.
FIND
• Reads the address list Apple Mail keeps – nothing else. Your messages are never opened.
• Tens of thousands of addresses import in seconds.
• Shows which addresses are already in Contacts and which are not.
• Search by name, address or domain; sort by any column.
TIDY UP
• Names are split into first and last name automatically, including "Last, First" and name particles.
• Edit names and addresses, swap first and last name, undo any change.
• Hide automated senders such as noreply@ addresses.
• Remove addresses you do not want – they stay away on the next import.
USE (MailContacts Pro)
• Add one or many addresses to Contacts.
• Export as CSV, vCard, plain text, HTML, RTF or Word.
• Upload a list to your Mailchimp audience, with double opt-in if you like.
• Print any list.
GROUPS AND NEWSLETTERS
• Put people into groups – by drag and drop or straight from any list.
• Design newsletters in a visual editor: chapters, formatted text, pictures, buttons and a table of contents.
• Greet everyone by name with placeholders, and preview exactly what each person gets.
• Send through your own mail account – iCloud, Gmail or any mail server. No third-party service is involved (MailContacts Pro).
• Pause and continue at any time; nobody gets a newsletter twice.
• People you mark as unsubscribed are never written to again.
PRIVATE BY DESIGN
• Everything stays on your Mac. Nothing is sent anywhere unless you export or upload it yourself.
• You grant access to the Mail folder once and can withdraw it at any time.
• Optional: profile pictures from Gravatar, off by default.
Importing, searching and tidying up are free. MailContacts Pro unlocks adding to Contacts, export, sending newsletters, Mailchimp upload and printing. You can get it as a monthly or yearly subscription, or once and for all with a lifetime purchase.
Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Payment is charged to your Apple Account. You can manage and cancel subscriptions in your App Store account settings.
