I just got this for my Mac because my old units converter was not compatible w/ Apple silicon. I have never found a converter with such a complete range of units categories. As a chemical engineer who not infrequently works in other areas, I really find the units library very useful. I only have one suggestion so far- The default font is quite small, but I found that I can easily resize the window and that increases the font size. Perfect! However, when I choose a different category of units, I have to resize the window again. The app appears to remember the size I select for a given unit, but I have to do that for each category separately. I’m guessing this setting might be linked to window size, so that would make sense, since some categories have many more options than others. However, it would be really nice if the settings permitted users to simply select a default font size that would automatically work for all categories. Thanks for a great app!

Most Intuitive Conversion App
Motorpsychology
I used it for years on a previous laptop and kept it. Simple drop down menu for type of measurement.Select what you want converted, enter the value, hit Calculate and it simultaneously displays conversions for every possible or obscure unit of measure. Only one I've found that includes Force and Torque choices. The standard font is small but you can corner drag to enlarge the typeface. It would be nice if the app would remember the desired size instead of reverting back to its compact form.

The BEST Unit Conversion App!
Bullwinkle888
I have been using Nic Kolbe‘s Converter app on my Mac for the last decade. After having tried a dozen or more unit conversion apps, this is by far the easiest and most intuitive to use. I’m ecstatic that this is now available in iOS.

Thank you so much for using the app and the awesome review!
Display TOO small
Iquittoo
The display is too small except for the GPS unit. I convert from Millimeter to Inches and back frequently. The text on the display appears to be a 10 point type. The width of the display in the Length calculator is 2 3/4” by 6 1/2” high. Being a senior citizen the text is hard to read requiring me to lean forward and look through my bi-focal lens. I have a 27” iMac, guess the app was designed to be compatible with the 13” Mac Air.The app is inexpensive and works well and fast.
Developer Response
The app is now resizeable! Thank you for the feedback, please adjust your rating.
• Smarter UI with Detailed Tooltips
Every unit across all 30 groups now includes rich tooltips that display the scientific symbol and a detailed explanation — helping users understand not just how, but what they’re converting.
• New layout with SI, International, UK, US and UK/US values
iOS version is now 100 % of the desktop macOS version, except e=mc² which will be added with the next update!
