1. How to use it?
1) Drag the folders or disks you want to clean to the left pane of the App, then the app will start to scan duplicates automatically.
2) Please wait the scan to finish, then you click "Clean" button in the toolbar, it will show you a panel to choose which files to clean.
3) Click "Start" button and wait the clean task finish, then you can click "Done" button to quit.
For step 2, I recommend you choose "Move To Folder" because this option supports file recovery, if you find something wrong, you can click "Undo" button in the toolbar to put all deleted files back.
2. Why some file scan is relatively slow?
A: If several huge size files have very little difference, in order to ensure the accuracy of the scan, the scanning speed of these huge files will be relatively slow, it is expected. if you don't want to scan certain type of files , you can skip them from preference to save some scan time. And you can also try to enable fast scan mode to speed up the file scan.
3. How to do file recovery?
A:
1) When do batch clean, set "File Operation" as "Move To Folder", and choose a target folder
2) After batch clean duplicates, the deleted files will be moved to the target folder, you can click "Undo" button from the toolbar to recovery deleted files.
3) Please note, only batch clean support file recovery. and if you quit the app, the deleted files CAN NOT be recoveried.
4. What's "fast scan mode"?
A: It aims to speed up the large file scanning, this mode is very useful for large binary file format, such as movies, pictures, zip files and etc. but the result is not 100% accurate, you should double check the result before clean them.
5. How to speed up when clean huge number of duplicate files?
A: please try to sort duplicate files by clicking table column header in duplicate file list view， it can speed up clean speed a lot.

i tried a couple of these duplicate removers and all the other ones would NOT ‘pierce’ the file structure. This made them unworkable for me becuase my pics and things were in various levels of files. I wanted to simply plug in my backup hard drive and remove duplicates on the whole drive. I started out with 636 gb of material and ran this and now I’m at 586 gb. It was very quick - less than 10 minutes for sure. Now this is the issue - when it shows the duplicates who would go through to make sure that they are actually duplicates? haha - it would take a lifetime to make sure they are actually duplicates. So what happens is that you have to trust it - you have to trust that they are in fact duplicates. Then you push the clean up button and 50 gb gets deleted. Good bye. I just hope it wasn’t a ‘close duplicate’, but what else can you do?So if it actually removed duplicates this program is the BEST program of all time for this task. If it removed files that weren’t not duplicates - well? - I’ll never know!

Sorry. I wanted to like this app. But can't trust it.I used this app alongside two other duplicate cleaner apps. This one entirely skips iPhoto, so forget looking for dups there. It also didn't pick up as many as the other two apps found.In addition, unable to see any kind of file preview when clicking what it has found. It's also hard to hard to understand, non-intuitive.

Please create complete instructions for how to use your app. Emailing you for support is not as helpful as having instructions.The links to your blog do not work, unless this page is your blog.The English version of the app uses the word "Support" a lot, but this is not used correctly. When duplicate files have been found, I cannot tell, without instructions, what exactly has been found and what will be deleted if I click the "Clean" button. Add the option to "save the deleted files for recovery" to the preferences panel.I could give your app a better rating if I knew how to use it and what actions it is performing.
