DaVinci Resolve App Store Limitations
The Mac App store version of DaVinci Resolve does not support some external control panels, and may not be compatible with all 3rd party OpenFX or VST plugins. If you need these features, please download DaVinci Resolve from the Blackmagic Design support website.

DaVinci Resolve crashed on export, corrupted the entire output file into unreadable gibberish, and then had the audacity to open back up and say "media not found" like it didn't just destroy everything. No warning. No recovery. No partial file. Nothing.The software is bloated, unstable, and has no business being recommended to anyone who isn't running a $10,000 editing workstation with unlimited storage and three months to learn why it randomly decides your project no longer exists. It is not a piece of professional-grade software it performs like a science fair project.iMovie has never done this to me. Windows Movie Maker from 2003 has never done this to me.
