more This is very good start but it has same problem as all multi cc interfaces - can't store cc values between runs and "send all".Forces you to start from scratch every time you run it.If you add this you'll have a unique product.No velocity sensing.Need to change midi note to cc message, change midi channel,then change back to midi note. Don't really need the round white dots on each finger tap.Also interface lets you put controls on top of other controls, great. But it should run all of them. This would allow putting multiple cc message pads under a large midi note pad maybe one in x direction and one in y direction... send cc messages first... makes a note pad with zones!

I use Sonic Logic to control 12 different outboard effects devices ranging from the revered TC Electronic M3000 to the forgettable ART DR-X in a small mixing facility. As most of the screens are going bad on these older units, I rely on Sonic Logic to handle program changes and send MIDI CC to the various units. It works flawlessly. On a different iPad, I’m running Sonic Logic to control my AB preferences in Metric AB. Again, never had an issue.Only thing I would ask for is cascading program assigning. Create a button that assigns to channel 9 program 3, the next button created automatically default assigns channel 9 program 4. I know this is an insanely specific request, but that’s really it. Thank you for this program! Love it.

I chose this app because I tested the knob lab app to see if it worked in slideover since this app doesn’t have a way to test it. Now I I am out the $10 and I can’t use the app for what I need.

Sonic Logic 5 introduces several new features to the app:
1. Macros - You can now load pre define macros easily to your app or create some, save and share your own group of components. Transport bar, filter control, group sessions, all of those are part of the big macro library shipped with Sonic Logic 5.
2. Button enhancements - Buttons can now have images to represent better what they do.
3. Group enhancements - Groups gain more control, including button groups which can have a single button pressed in a group, groups in groups and much more.
4. Editor enhancements - The editor is quicker and more fluent.
5. Seamless connection to your Mac - Using the handoff protocol Sonic Logic instantly connects to any Mac running Sonic Logic Central without any action needed.
..and many more features, like MIDI 2 support and other behind the scene changes that make Sonic Logic 5 feel smooth and natural.

Sonic Logic 3 is a complete overhaul of Sonic Logic with some awesome new features, so what’s in store?
1. Multiple MIDI destinations - Control multiple MIDI destinations from one component. Component can now map up to eight different destinations (Channel, CC, value or type). Create complex button, knob and slider mappings. Multiple MIDI destinations also work with timed transition buttons, so one tap of a button can trigger complex timed transitions to multiple destinations.
2. New top bar and workflow - The new top bar replaces the legacy one with a better workflow, the top bar has a built in MIDI out output indicator, showing exactly what MIDI values are transmitted out. The legacy components selection bar has been replaces with the new component creation screen.
3. Tab bar - The screen selection and controls have been replaces with an easy and more visible tab bar.
4. Connection center - All of the outgoing connection has been put into one managing screen, tapping on the connection panel anywhere in the app opens it and it’s a one stop shop for all types of connection.
5. MIDI Logger - the MIDI logger logs all outgoing MIDI traffic, you can easily monitor what data is transmitted in a session. The logger holds up to 10,000 records.
6. Component creation screen - The new component creation screen has easier controls for selecting component types, presets and edit controls.
7. Detailed edit screens - The detailed edit screens have been refactored for better control. The group edit screens now allows access only to relevant edit data from a complex group, making it easier to select what traits are changed in a group.
8. Better support for 10.5” and 12.9” devices - Almost all components have been redrawn to fit beautifully on 10.5” and 12.9” screens and are fully scaled for large devices. 12.9” devices can work with two sizes - normal or large, both are fully scaled.

10. Fixes and tweaks - Bugs squashed and a lot of over perfectionist code has been written to enhance tiny bits of the overall experience.

1. Import and export to Macs via USB - export quickly to a Mac using the share button, drag and drop a file on a Mac to upload to Sonic Logic. (via Sonic Logic Central app)
2. Multi Audiobus connections - multiple connections can send the same MIDI data or separated destinations by MIDI channel.
3. Longer timed transitions with a new time editor - button timed transitions can now last up to 60 seconds.
4. Preview mode - easily view all MIDI values assigned in a setup.
* Timed transitions have been rewritten and are now much more CPU efficient.
