The HVACR Check & Charge™ mobile app from Copeland Climate Technologies provides an on-site refrigerant charge calculator for air conditioning and refrigeration applications. Based on historic sliding cardboard charge calculators, this app allows contractors to easily calculate the correct system refrigerant charge for R-22, R-410A, R-32, R-407C, R-134a, R-452B, R-454B, R-438A, R-422B, R-427A, R-421A, R-404A, R-290, R-449A, R-448A, R-407A, R-600, R-600a, R502, R-514A and R-515B. Contractors can simply choose Superheat, Subcooling, or Airflow and enter the specified system temperatures along with the latent and sensible environmental loads. These values are then used to determine the proper system charge and whether the charge amount needs to be altered based on these conditions.

I never thought I’d see the day I incorporated my phone into refrigerant work, but here I am, and so far I’m shocked it took me this long. The CheckCharge app has been a great new partner. No longer do I have to carry around or look up charts for every refrigerant I encounter. Now I can quickly select the refrigerant I’m working with, choose the charging method I’m going to be using, and then input my temperatures and pressures. Once I’ve put all my data in the app I can quickly see where I’m at. This app won’t put up your tools or button the system back up, but it does make things easier and faster which is fantastic.

From the first time I opened this App, I have loved it, on my iPhone, in my iPad nothing else will do. It has never let me down, easy to read, three this you’ll see add, remove and correct charge. Those 3 things will never change, and neither will I.

Nothing else at any price compares with this product. It should be considered a Standard. Quickly analyzes conditions and factors and presents a ‘red or green light ‘ conclusion for the Customer who can save the conditions for future comparative analysis. Can’t beat the value for everyone.

Been using this app to get the perfect charge for r410a and r22 for 5 years now absolutely love this app and will definitely have all my technicians use this app for more years to comeIt’s best used for superheat Sub cooling is always 10degrees on systems in Ohio so I don’t use it for sub cooling
