Simple, functional, and ready!

This is great little calculator app. I use it daily and appreciate the “always ready” function. This sits on the menu bar and is essentially always on. The quick hide function (using “H”) is a nice function to get the app out of the way once done. The memory with the tape feature is also really good. The standard Mac calculator is fine and also has a tape, but it’s not always ready and doesn’t hide quickly. While these little features seem minor, it really comes in handy and overall saves time. The only downside I’ve noticed so far, is that I’ve had to delete and reinstall the app a few times. It seems that it just stopped working. This may have been a bug and seems to have resolved. I think I”m on the third reinstall. Even if this bugs out, I still find it to be a very usable calculator app. Finally, this isn’t a complex calculator or one I would use if I had serious mathematical calculations to run, but for the basic plus, minus, divide, multiply - it’s great! Thank you, Holger Sindbaek.
The perfect calculator replacement for Big Sur

I used to use the calculator in the control center all the time and was very disappointed when it was removed, but this app fixed the last sticking point I had with that update! It's even more convenient than the old mac calculator because it's always ready in the menu bar (I don't even need to open the control center and scroll down) and it doesn't clear the last calculation I made, which saves me a lot of time in recalculating things. Like other reviews have mentioned, if you're trying to do big math this may not be for you. If you're like me, though, and math just isn't your forte, so you calculate stupid little equations, you should be totally fine. 10/10 would recommend!
Calculator Always Ready

My on board calculator that came with my MacBook died and no longer looks like a calculator, acts like a calculator nor quacks like a calculator. I was looking for something that I could use while shopping. Found this calculator and it is perfect for what I need. One of the best parts is that I don’t have to shut all the windows to get to it. It stays on the toolbar next to the bluetooth sign so, in that respect it is better than what I had .The numbers are large enough for me to use without my glasses, it has a clean appearance and it was FREE. I might also want to add that this the second calculator that I have gotten from the App. store. The other was kept getting lost. This is a review for the basic version.
My go-to calculator

This is by far the most useful calculator I have on any of my devices. The ability to see the history of my calculations in the Tape column has saved me from the wasted time and frustration of re-entering data. I can confirm that my inputs were correct and recall previous calculations without having to take notes. One star deducted because I sometimes have trouble bringing up the calculator after restarting the computer or if I accidentally hit “Quit” instead of “Hide”. Settings to keep it in the toolbar and/or open automatically on start-up don’t seem to work consistently. Occasionally having to re-open it from my Applications folder is worth it overall, because it’s so feature-rich and easy to use.
Full native rewrite of the existing macOS menu bar calculator app.
