AcaStat is an inexpensive alternative to costly statistical software. AcaStat simplifies the analysis of data. Use drag and drop functioning to run crosstabulations, descriptive statistics, correlation, and common significance tests without learning programming code or complex interface commands. Enter data or paste data from a spreadsheet for analysis. Save system data files that include variable formatting and recodes. AcaStat produces frequencies tables, crosstabulations, descriptive statistics, correlation, multiple regression, logistic regression, and related significance tests. A summary statistics module includes 31 procedures for analyzing summary data. Includes formatted example data to explore features.

- This update copies AcaStat manuals to the Documents folder on the user's device. The previous versions linked to a webpage. This change allows users to view application and statistical help off-line.
- Minor appearance changes in the SumStats Tab.

New Features:
- This compile is compatible with macOS Big Sur and Apple Silicon Mac. The Universal Binary app looks the same as a regular app, but it contains one version of the app that can run on x86-64 (Intel 64-bit) and another that can run on Apple Silicon.
- Added a Calculator module that is opened via the View Menu. The calculator includes a running log of calculations that can be edited with notes and saved to the Output Log.
- The SumStats data spreadsheet now scrolls to top of spreadsheet after running a procedure.
- Improved formatting of descriptives output for Cases and Root Mean Square.
- Descriptives Percentiles option displays error message if data spreadsheet has less than 10 observations.
- Added data replacement warning for random sample procedure.

This update adds two Box and Whiskers charts (vertical and horizontal) to the Charts module. An option module allows changing chart default settings.
Stability Improvements:
- The data format Paste button is now disabled until the data format Copy button is used.
- Improved the SumStats history arrows so the forward and back arrows are disabled if the stored history cannot change due to reaching the maximum or minimum number of stored items.
- Improved the display of historical data in SumStats when moving among statistical procedures. In the prior version, clicking on a SumStats procedure with historical statistics displayed an empty data field instead of the last historical record.
- Improved printing so an extra blank page is not cycled after the final page is printed.

▪An import SPSS Data Dictionary module was added to the Data menu. The import module allows users with access to SPSS (e.g., computer lab) to use SPSS to create data dictionary text and data tab delimited files for import into AcaStat to create an AcaStat file with data and variable formatting.
▪Right-click copy and paste is now available in the Data Information module. The module also includes a print option.
▪Added an option in the data import module to import data that does not contain variable (column) labels in the first row.
▪Added feature that retains the existing statistic or chart procedure when loading or pasting new data.
▪Added *.tsv and *.dat to the data grid file drop options.
