more I was looking for a Mac version equvilent to WinSCP. DCommander looked to fit the bill. When I purchased this, however, I was unable connect to ANYTHING but my Macbook’s hdd. I thought “hmm. maybe it is on CentOS” (thinking host firewall). I went to a Windows 7 VM and installed WinSCP (to verify). Launched WinSCP on the Win 7 box, authenticated, and it worked like a champ. I reached out to DCommander Support for this product almost a week ago and have gotten ZERO correspondance. Short Answer: Don’t watse your hard earned money. Developers need to give us a test run to make sure thier stuff works verses forking over money for this half baked junk.

I used to use Norton Commander on PCs, and this is very similar, only faster and more featuers.Mainly, I use this tool to manage legacy files. I have 500 GB of music, many terabytes of technical data and drawings, and lots of docoments. This software allows you to pull up the same file folder on two different drives, including network drives, and move, copy, erase, whatever you want. I also bought their file synch program, and it's handy to make sure backup copies match. All in all, a great tool. I've been using it for over a decade.
