There are other apps I use to get things at a discount, but this is by far the first app I check for deals. This isn't full of clear-out, leftover stock that didn't sell somewhere. Its deals are posted by other users and the is a comment section where people comment on their experience and on tech stuff, their expertise with some users asking if a certain product is comparable with their current setup, if there is a better deal, or not a deal at all. Users get reputation points so you see who comments and who posts deals. It's not a review section where you have to figure out which ratings are promoted or promotions. You can save deals to come back later and but and it tells you if the deal has expired and you can filter your feed to your preference. It takes a minute to get used to the layout but overall it has what the others are lacking.

You will all understand from the second you sign on until you force yourself to log out that their is NOTHING BUT DEALS!!!! #1 rated relationship Saver for Men with how much more you are able to buy your lady or even just that one thing she wanted, and the “ same goes for women “ saving $$ an buying their man’s real name products cheaper then the knock-off’s!!! If you don’t have this APP then you need to make the First Step in Recovery to a better life of recovering all that money back in your savering pockets. Psssshhh MEN, FYI- you’re guaranteed to see new tricks performed for u at home if u keep finding those deals which then you can give her double the presents….
Automatic Refresh

Overall I really like the Slickdeals app. But what I hate is the automatic refresh of the page/tab that you are looking on. For example you are scrolling through the deals on a page and lets say you are half way through or wherever you are on that page of deals and then you switch to a different app and then you switch back to the slickdeals app and now you are back at the top of the list of deals and now you have to scroll down to find where you left off. It is really annoying to say the least. I wish there was a way to disable that. DEVELOPERS: Can you disable that? Can we go back to the old way where you pull down or push up on the page to refresh the page. Maybe when there are new items added to a particular tab there is a notice at the top saying “New items added. Pull down or push up on the page to refresh that tab”, or other simple notification. PLEASE and THANK YOU!
Redesign is awful - I rarely say that about an app’s UI

I’m not sure if they even tested the new redesign, but wow, where to begin… The font is too big and almost entirely the same size in all sections, which makes it hard to parse. There is a severe lack of negative space, which again makes it hard to read and identify where deals begin and end. The section headers are too small and blend in with the deal text. For three new main colors seem to be black, gray and white… which, surprise surprise, makes it hard to read.Notice a theme here? When the entire point of your site/app is predicated on READING TEXT (i.e., reading the text of deals) and the redesign makes it difficult to do that, then you have a major problem…I now use the mobile version of the site on my phone. It lacks some of the features of the app of course, but the reduction in cognitive load is definitely worth it. Fingers crossed that they roll back the changes sooner than later.
