We are passionate backcountry skiers and freeriders! In fact, we were so dedicated that we built our own app because we couldn't reliably access vital avalanche safety information when we needed it most out in the backcountry.
We built SnowSafe for ourselves, and we are stoked to share it with you – especially on a powder day!

• Smartwatch Support: Relay the active region’s avalanche bulletin directly to your Huawei sport watch for quick checks on your wrist.
TRUE OFFLINE CAPABILITY
The only things you should worry about in the backcountry are weather and snowpack conditions – not cell reception. SnowSafe automatically synchronizes and caches avalanche bulletins for your favorite and recently viewed regions in the background, ensuring the latest report is ready offline when you head out.
CUSTOM ALERTS
Mountain conditions can change rapidly, even within a single day. Favorite your home regions to receive instant push notifications whenever a new bulletin is published or when your custom danger level threshold (Level 1–5) is reached.

PREMIUM MOUNTAIN WEATHER (OPTIONAL)
New snow, wind, and temperature are the primary drivers of avalanche danger. SnowSafe Premium unlocks high-resolution mountain weather forecasts powered by MetGIS:
• High-resolution new snow, wind, and temperature maps
• Super-Zoom down to individual valleys for route planning
• Worldwide 10-day point forecasts for your exact spot
Premium Weather is available as a monthly or yearly subscription. Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase. The subscription automatically renews unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period. You can manage your subscriptions and turn off auto-renewal anytime after purchase in your App Store Account Settings. Any unused portion of a free trial period, if offered, will be forfeited when the user purchases a subscription.
