Simple and easy access to your accounts:
• Use Quick Balance to check your balance instantly without logging in
• Log in quickly using your PAN (Personal Access Number) or TouchID / FaceID.

Open a Savings or Deposit Account:
• View eStatements.
• Update Open24 desktop site password.

• Set up a standing order.
• Transfer to your existing international SWIFT payees. These payees can only be set-up by visiting a PTSB branch.
• Manage payments i.e. view or edit details for existing payees, bill payments, standing orders, direct debits and future dated payments.
Accessing the app:
• To log in to the PTSB app you’ll need to be a PTSB customer who is registered for Open24 Online Banking. To register for Open24 call us now on 0818 50 24 24 or +353 1 212 4101.
• To access some features you’ll need to enter a security code which you’ll receive via SMS to your registered mobile phone number. 2023 and still no biometric login to the app. The only bank that I know of in existence to still not have it. Their IT systems are held together with duct tape it seems. Frequent outages including their lodgement machines swallowing your cash and crashing. The only reason I’m still with them is because I’ve free banking for life. Get your act together PTSB and upgrade your IT!!!!!

I don't know why there's so many negative reviews here. I'm submitting this review in October 2024 and the app is significantly updated so it now does everything that I need a bank app to do
Limited functionality & spotty performance

Since six years the app still does not have transaction notifications, Touch or Face ID. Any type of banking is still smoother the old fashioned way by using a computer online. I feel like this is one big reason so many people use Revolut now for their day-to-day banking.
What is going on with theses “upgrades”

The app recently changed to be more “user friendly”. Well this week the app refused to move past the login screen. Not exactly user friendly. An app is supposed to compliment the customer experience. If all I can see is my balance, then what’s the point?
Make way for Zippay – in this update you’ll find a new way to send and receive money using just a mobile number. You’ll find Zippay in the “Transfer” section of your PTSB app.
