I remember the skepticism that this app was greeted with when it first came out, by users, the banks and even some in the press. And it was all to do with the fact that you have to login to financial institutions within the app, thus the fear that info this would be misused by the developer. Well, it’s a few years on and not one data breach via this app and/or site. I just wanted to express my gratitude to the team that seems to work tirelessly to ensure that we as its users have all the support we need. My only gripe would be that there’s yet to be an iPad-compatible version of the app. But otherwise, onwards and upwards!

Back in 2001 when I got my 20Twenty card delivered in the most amazing packaging from a company that delivered exquisite service & respect, I didn’t even know that I would never have a problem with the card or miscellaneous hidden charges right up until they closed down. Now, the creators of that brilliant pre-Facebook era online card company ask me to let them use technology to evaluate my spending habits & automagically classify my expenses and watch for double-charges as well as see all my wealth across banks in one spot… there is really no way I can say no.

I’ve been using this app since 2015 and I look at it everyday. It quickly became my ‘go to’ for checking account balances, transactions and budgets. I’ve never had any security breach with regards to linking my bank accounts. The app is completely safe. I can hardly believe it’s free. There is no better way to track spending of small amounts and things like bank fees and charges and what you’re paying in interest if you have debt. It’s a great motivator to reduce debt when you can see exactly what the interest is costing you. You can even create your own categories if need and break them down any way you want to. This app shows me what my real spending and saving actually looks like. I couldn’t live without it.
