Practice Center: rebuilt from the ground up with the latest iOS technologies. Better, more reliable and more efficient than ever before. A lot more coming soon.
Practice Center puts the essential tools musicians need on one screen, helping you spend less time navigating between apps and more time focused on productive practice.
Use the metronome, tuning drones, recorder, camera mirror, stopwatch, and countdown timer independently—or combine them as your practice session requires. Whether you are improving rhythm, intonation, tone, endurance, embouchure, or overall consistency, Practice Center keeps your most useful tools visible and within easy reach.
KEY FEATURES
• All-in-one practice dashboard
See and control your practice tools from one unified screen without repeatedly opening menus or switching between apps.
• Flexible metronome
Choose your tempo, meter, and rhythmic subdivision. Changes respond while the metronome is playing so you can explore different patterns without interrupting your session.
• Just-intonation tuning drones
Practice pitch, resonance, and interval relationships with sustained reference tones tuned using musically appropriate just-intonation adjustments.
• Audio recording and review
Record your practice, organize saved recordings, and listen back at 100%, 80%, or 60% speed for closer evaluation.
• Camera practice mirror
Use the front-facing camera to observe embouchure, facial position, posture, breathing, and other visual aspects of your technique.
• Stopwatch and countdown timer
Track elapsed practice time or set a focused practice interval using independent, easy-to-read timing controls.
• Tools that work together
Run the metronome, tuning drones, timing tools, and audio recorder together when your practice routine calls for it.
Practice Center is designed for instrumentalists, vocalists, teachers, and students who want a focused, efficient practice environment without unnecessary distractions.
Let me say that my entire class hates this app with a fiery passion. If I could leave 0 Stars, I would. Let’s start with the the app itself. Unless you turn off automatic turn off on your iPad, which most of us did not know existed, you have to stop practicing to tap the screen, which is a hassle when, if you miss it and the app shuts down, you lose the recordings. That comes into my next issue. The app does not keep recordings! If we need to stop and come back, because bathrooms are a thing, we have to start all over because our recordings are gone! We have to practice 100 minutes a week, and, sadly, this brings me to my final issue. The sending function. There are the lucky few who get the recordings to send. Then there are those who can open the email, but cannot send because we did not know the app can’t attach to any email but the mail app which most of us did not have (you know a q&a function would greatly better this app). Then there are the poor souls that can’t get the blasted email open and some hope that it could send. All in all, my class is preparing a petition to never use this app for class again. If that fails, a revolution is on our teacher’s hands. Spare him the fate of an angry band of 48 and fix this app!
Worst app I’ve ever seen
$$$$,$$$$$$$$.
Learn how to program since you obviously can’t create a simple app like this. Either it won’t send completed recordings via email, it will crash and delete everything, or it just won’t open whatsoever. Either completely overhaul the app in an update or delete it from the App Store.

I should have read more carefully. I thought that this had multi-speed VIDEO playback capabilities. I was with a trumpet player from major symphony orchestra yesterday and we both would have jumped on this bandwagon had it had the ms video playback. Must have it and this app will set the teaching world on fire.
Really good, Swiss Army knife for practice

I use this app in my teaching as well as my personal practice. It is great for creating both quick-and-dirty audios and videos, and allows nearly instantaneous feedback. The fact that all of these features can be used either together or separately is unique- and very cool. Well worth the modest cost, and doesn't take up a lot of room on your iPad. The drum loops feature is also nice to prevent some of the boredom straight metronome can provide. But the metronome itself is full of variations. Likewise the drones are extremely useful, and can be used while working on other aspects of playing, rather than in isolation only, as with other apps (But if you want to only work on pitch, you can do that, too.) This app takes advantage of all the real estate provided on an iPad. Five stars.
New in version: 6.2
- Added visual Tuner that toggles to/from the Drone panel
- Enhanced Drum Loops and Practice Mode UI design
- Improved camera recording and playback
- Improved Drone, Metronome and Drum Loop sounds
