Frame Grab lets you export any frame from a MOV, M4V, or MP4 video as a high-quality still image in JPEG, PNG, TIFF, or HEIC format with simple, intuitive controls.
You can export frames one by one, or add them to the Queue (sidebar) and export them all at once.
With Continuous Grabbing, you can automatically add a specified number of frames to the Queue at fixed intervals.
■ To open movies
Choose File > Open and select the movie file(s), or drag the file(s) onto the Frame Grab application icon.
■ To add frames to the Queue
• Drag and drop a frame from the video screen to the Queue in the sidebar
• Use the Continuous Grabbing function to add multiple frames automatically
For more details, please see the User Guide on the Frame Grab website.

Easy to use but keeps freezing and not responding
Brooklylion
Easy app to use. Allows for single or multiple stills to be transferred. But the problem is the app frequently not opening up when used with Apple Photo app and tends to crash when multiple items in queue are transferred.
Great app for exactly what it says it does!

If you’re looking for a simple app to grab stills from most common video files, this is it. When it opens, nothing pops up until you open a movie. Then, you have frame accurate transport controls to find exactly where you want to export. Click the Export button, set your flavor of image file, name, and save. It can’t get much simpler!Thank you for creating a simple app that does what it says it does!
• Fixed an issue where image rotation was not correctly reflected in exported images
• Fixed an issue where portrait videos could not be exported as landscape images
• Fixed some other bugs
