You guys had something in the first game. Even if it was a blatant copy, a bad one at that, of the Cause of Death game, it still had a somewhat interesting story and horrible, yet funny dialogue (especially from the character of Dave Stanton). But this game……this game is just boring. Like really boring. Dialogue, story, everything. I lost interest multiple times while playing. I only decided to fully play through just because a friend was curious how it stacked up compared to the last game. In terms of gameplay, there’s hardly any investigating going on. In fact the gameplay was part of the reason I gave up so much. All you do is just pick out objects like a kid’s Find & Seek game. There’s an occasional mini-game but thats about the only challenge you’re gonna get. The only thing I actually liked about this game is that it had live action animated cutscenes. Not even Cause of Death could do that. In summary, its boring, and a complete step back from the first game and not nearly worth the price tag. There’s a reference to the continuation of the last case by Dave Stanton himself and even that short reference was more interesting than the case you the player are investigating.

You get stuck in a scene and it is difficult if t impossible to move forward.
