This update focuses on some bug fixes to our previous release including the following: - Previously, when the Contactless check-in pop up appeared and the iPad was turned, the camera preview could show up sideways or upside down. The camera preview now follows the iPad's current orientation, so visitors always see themselves the right way up. - The arrow that points visitors to the camera always pointed toward the short side of the iPad, even on iPads with the camera on the long side. The arrow now takes the iPad model into account, so it points to the actual camera location, and it stays correct when the iPad is rotated as well as the first time it appears. - Some printers were being identified as the wrong model. A QL-810W could be shown and set up as a QL-820NWB, which stopped badges from printing. The app now uses the model the printer itself reports, including when a printer is connected by typing its IP address, so the correct printer settings are used and badge printing works as expected. Selecting a printer that has just been found also shows as connected right away, instead of showing "Not Found" until the screen is reopened. - Saving settings from a screen where printer details were not loaded, such as choosing a location while signing in, could silently clear the iPad's saved printer. Printer details are now only reported when a printer is actually set up, so a configured printer stays configured. We have also refreshed some of the app's underlying components to keep The Receptionist current with the latest Apple standards. This has now functions correctly so that when the screen orientation is unlocked (setting on Home Screen), the user can turn the iPad between Portrait and Landscape mode while on the buttons screen aligns with the button organization. - There were issues in the text not wrapping once reaching a certain number of characters on the iPad screen. We have updated this so that no matter how long the text, the screen will wrap longer text entered and be visible when a user is adding text for ID Capture fields.
