Travel more. Spend less. Home sharing built on trust, not transactions.
You already share places through group chats, social posts, and word of mouth. kommu is where all of that comes together — one place tolist, find stays, and build your network.
Everyone is identity-verified. Your rules are set before anyone books. Every stay comes with $100,000 in protection. No transaction fees. Share your link wherever you already post — anyone who books through kommu is verified and follows your terms.
Every connection you make and group you join opens up more stays to book and more people to share your place with. The average kommu guest saves over $1,200 per trip compared to hotels and short-term rentals. One trip more than pays for the year.
THREE WAYS TO STAY
1. Stay at someone's place — hosts set a rate to help cover their costs.
2. Swap homes with another person. Your place for theirs.
3. House/pet sit while someone's away.
One subscription. No transaction fees on any stay. You don't need to host to join.
Free to try for 14 days. Browse homes, build your profile, and connect with people. Your subscription starts when you propose your first stay or at the end of your trial.

Love this app. I’ve always wanted to be able to see where my friends are traveling in case I’m in the same city and its also a great affordable option for stays. I recently went through a renovation in my home and used Kommu to look for available places to stay until the work was finished. The groups that exist for different networks is also great to connect with old friends and meet new ones.

If you were hungry for safer and less expensive travel options and you’re looking for a way to do it through your friends (and friends-of-friends) to build deeper relationships, then Kommu is just what you’re looking for. I’ve been around this space for 7 years and Kommu is the best solution out there. So excited to travel more with friends (and friends-of-friends) and host them when they come to Chicago ❤️
Great stay alternative

I’ve been looking for a better way to keep track of where my network is at during a given time. I travel a lot and have friends all over the country - coordinating is tough. Kommu is a great way to address this issue and makes navigating my social circle way more fun!Love the listing features too - figuring out trusted people I can swap with is great for traveling in a more budget friendly way!

Kommu has made traveling frequently so much more accessible and cost effective! From just a few trips, I’ve saved thousands of dollars by finding stays of TRUSTED people (all friends and friends of friends) in the kommu network. Highly recommend using this platform for any travel !
Booking links now open the exact stay proposal. We’ve also improved international location support and made general reliability improvements.
