What's new in mssgs 3.1 - Credits and Premium: buy credit packs in the app, get Premium with credits, gift credits from a profile, a story comment or a voice room, and pick up coin drops in channels. Settings has a Credits tab with your balance and history. - Badges: 22 achievement coins with a reveal when you unlock one, shown on profiles and in Settings. - Clip editor: captions that follow the audio, text, music and your own sounds, crop, bring in a video from your phone, export the whole film for TikTok, YouTube or a chat, and albums for your clips. Clips has its own button on the bottom bar. - Listening sessions: record or import sounds of your own, edit them and layer them into a track in the studio. - Events and reminders: plan events in a channel with a list of who is coming, set reminders that repeat, and import your calendar into the agenda. - Calls: a Calls tab, a ringtone per caller, calls that open beside the chat, and screen sharing sized for your phone with its own volume. - Search by kind: photos, videos, GIFs, links, files and attachments. - Chats: archive finished chats behind Face ID or a passcode, group communities into folders, announcement channels, and swap the picture on a message you already sent. - File Drop: send files to people on the same network, straight from the app. - Photos and videos: photos sent in a row become one album, print from the viewer, four new camera looks, cinematic focus, and journey and moment stickers. - Memories: filter by colour and date, and keep an edited memory as a new one. - Sign in with passkeys and backup codes, and log in on the desktop or the website by scanning its code with your phone. - Map: open it on the person you follow, a card when they turn up in another city, and a friend's place as a shortcut. - Communities: premium-only groups, invite and posting permissions, VPN and IP bans, and a redesigned server settings screen. - Profiles and members: one Posts and Clips switch, everything about a person under one menu, and member cards in the panel. - The app now speaks Danish and Swedish. - Fixes: messages that arrived while you were away are there when you open the chat, chats open faster, recordings can no longer be lost, the dual camera no longer crashes, the message bar no longer comes up squashed, and the app holds up better on poor connections.
