Accept payments for restaurants any way your guests want to pay. The SpiceApp Payment app connects to the SpiceApp POS system and helps you take orders, manage them, and process in-store payments for your guests. Easy accept tips, allow split pay for dine-in guests, and easily process refunds. The app facilitates payment processing through a Bluetooth card reader. App can also work in paired mode to use as customer checkout display for SpiceApp POS. A SpiceApp account and card reader are required to use this app.

Card readers
• The payment amount stays on screen while the reader connects
• Clearer connection progress for the D135 reader, with a prompt to check the reader if it doesn't connect
• Fixed the reader setup screen closing as soon as it opened
Employee sign-in
• Staff sign in with their PIN, and each payment is recorded under the server who took it
• Idle sessions sign out automatically, and manager permissions are recognized
Split payments
• Split a check by guest
• Tips added before splitting are kept
• Removing the last split goes back to a single payment
Refunds
• Redesigned refund screen
• Refunds and voided authorizations now reopen the order or check
Fixes
• Email receipts now send reliably, and you're told if one fails
• Fixed the order list going blank and tabs not switching after returning to it
• Fixed a white screen after reloading the app
• Fixed duplicate charges and general stability improvements
