Train Ride On: USA is a cross-country train adventure in which players collect and play matching train cards to claim railway routes connecting cities. The longer the routes, the more points you earn.
The objective of the Train Ride On: USA game is to score the highest number of points.
Train Ride On: USA is played with 2 - 4 Players. 110 train cards and 14 locomotives (wild cards), 30 destination tickets. Each Player gets 45 colored train car cards and 4 train car cards. The top five train car cards from the deck are placed face-up. Deal 3 destination ticket cards to each player. Players look at their destination ticket and decide which one they wish to keep. Any returned card needs to be placed at the bottom of the destination ticket deck. Players must keep at least two destination tickets, but may keep all three if they choose. It's time to buy your Train Ride On: USA.
Locomotives are multi colored and act as wild cards that can be part of any set of cards when claiming a route. If the locomotive card is one of the five face-up cards, the player who draws it may only draw one card instead of two. After drawing one card, if the replacement card is a locomotive, then the player cannot take it. Destination tickets are kept secret from other players until the game’s final scoring.
The game ends when any player's train stock gets down to 0, 1, or 2 at the end of his turn, then each player, including that player, gets one final turn. It's time to buy your Train Ride On: USA.
The player in Train Ride On: USA must do any one of the three actions: Draw Train car cards, claim a Route, and Draw Destination Tickets.
Points are lost if you do not successfully complete the route given on the destination ticket you kept. Connect more than just cities, set off with your friends and family to discover Train Ride On: USA, the classic board game.

This is a great game! It is played exactly like the original board game and even has all of the same routes, so you can practice for physical games with friends and family. That being said, it does offer a “play with friends” option within the app. I also love that it plays a lot faster than if you were playing the physical game and that it is portable. And, you can choose to play by yourself with robots OR online with real people. The one caveat to that is that because this game doesn’t have as many downloads as it DESERVES yet, there have been instances where there isn’t anyone to play with online and it will have you play with robots instead. Although I gave this game 5 stars (it deserves more than 4), there are a few improvements I would love… I don’t think that the rankings make sense—I would love to participate, but I don’t know what the numbers represent (ie. are they wins in games with other people? Something else?). Furthermore, I downloaded the game on my phone first, then my iPad. I was hoping that because there are gamer IDs, I would be able to plug my information into my iPad, but there isn’t any way to do that, so now I have two different ones. Additionally, having different robot difficulties would be nice because I tend to beat them every time (that doesn’t mean it’s not still fun or challenging). Finally, I know that this is a tough ask because it seems like the game is only getting started off, but it would be awesome if you could play other maps besides U.S. or if you came up with additional routes (even if they were optional, so you could choose to play the OG version). Thanks for all of the amazing work you put in, I can’t wait to see how you’ll develop your game further!
Great Overall

Very satisfied with this app game overall. Very pleased with the minimal ads and how the game emulates the one we all know. A few things I hope the developer considers (I couldn’t find where to give direct feedback to the developer): (1) have greater difficulty options for bots. It’s unrealistic that they often have only two tickets in one game and don’t succeed in one or both of them. (2) I don’t understand the purpose of the player XP levels. (3) Being able to bet more than 1000 coins would be cool. On the other hand, I can’t find any use for my huge wealth of coins besides starting a game, which hardly costs any coins. (4) What if you deviated a bit from the original game and had other modes like maybe shorter scenarios, like having to make the most of a tough mid-game situation? (5) the initial ticket options don’t seem randomized enough. After playing a few dozen times, it seems that some tickets are always paired together. What makes the game fun is supposed to be that no two games are ever the same. Thanks for listening!
Would Recommend This Version!!

TL;DR - clean and nicely designed app that represents its board game counterpart well. One con - very small user base, so online play feature turns into playing with easy botsI had so much fun playing the board game Ticket to Ride with friends, but we don’t get the opportunity to play often. Finding this app was perfect! It was a good way for me to practice and build strategies, especially since I only played the board game 3 times before. The UX is good. It’s pretty easy to see your cards and place trains on the board even on a small iPhone screen. You can pinch to zoom in so that you don’t accidentally misplace your trains. It was also nice playing the bots because I could finish a 4-player game in 20 minutes or play for a little bit, take a break, and come back to the game later without losing progress in my game. It looks like this game was released sometime in 2022, so hopefully they’ll add to it. The only thing I’d really want to see is a change in difficulty level for the bots! It’s still fun for me because I can practice optimizing and getting higher end game scores though.I’ve been playing for a week, and I’m itching to play against someone more difficult! I tried playing the online mode (against other real-life players), but no one else seems to be playing when I am so it always ends up turning into an offline game with bots.Whether I delete in a week or continue playing, it gave me a pretty good experience, and I would recommend it to someone who has been wanting to practice or learn to play Ticket to Ride. (4.5 out of 5)
Just like the real-life game.

I’m really enjoying the experience and would recommend! However I would love to be able to increase the difficulty for the bots. That’s how I primarily play and while the beginner level helps with practice and trying out new strategies, it will quickly get boring without some challenge from the bots. Also, having the option to speed the game play for bots would be helpful. I agree that the ability to pause would be fantastic as sometimes I have to walk away and it’s annoying when I am halfway through a game that disappears.
Enhanced Game Rules.
Bug fixes.
UX Improvements.
