Now works with Siri: set a talking alarm hands-free. Pick the time, tell it what to say, and wake up to your own words. A beep tells you when. It never tells you why. Alarm That Talks is the alarm clock that speaks your own words out loud. Type "Take your blood pressure pill", "Leave now, the meeting is at 9" or "Get up, it's gym day" and that is exactly what you hear when it rings. No guessing, no unlocking your phone to find out what the alarm was for. HEAR IT BEFORE YOU TRUST IT Tap play while you set an alarm and listen to exactly what it will say. What you hear is what you wake up to. MADE FOR REAL MORNINGS • Talking alarms: every alarm reads your message aloud, again and again until you're up • Wake-up challenges: shake your phone or solve a quick math problem to stop the alarm, built for heavy sleepers and serial snoozers • Wake-up streaks: see how many mornings in a row you actually got up • Medication and routine reminders: repeat on weekdays, weekends or any days you choose • Quick labels for medicine, meetings, the gym and the school run, or write your own words • Built-in alarm sounds you can preview before saving • On iOS 26, alarms use Apple's system alarm technology, so they ring through Silent mode and Focus EVERYWHERE YOU NEED IT • Apple Watch: see, create and edit your alarms from your wrist; your iPhone speaks them and your watch alerts you • Home Screen widgets with your next alarm • Control Center control for quick access • Works on iPhone and iPad FREE TO START Your first talking alarm is free, with every built-in sound and the Shake challenge. ALARM THAT TALKS PRO • Unlimited talking alarms • Math wake-up challenge • Choose the voice, language, speed and pitch, from all the voices your device offers • Custom snooze length Pro is an optional auto-renewable subscription, available weekly, monthly or yearly. Prices are shown in the app before you buy. Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase. The subscription renews automatically unless it is cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel any time in your App Store account settings. It works if done right

At first didn’t work but later I played with the notification settings and it started working. Remember, this is technically a notification app, not alarm. You need to give it permission somewhere in the settings. Also, it works best when the phone screen is locked. When you are using the phone for videos etc. it is muffled. I found it very useful. Much better than alarms that keep going. This one will repeat what you wrote about 8 times and then stop. I was able to make it loud enough to hear while driving. There could be more updates on it but remember this is still the Beta version. If there is enough interest they might invest in an upgrade.

I have set up every way (and there are very settings) but it hasn't worked once. Too bad. It seemed just what I was looking for. Can anyone an app that does work, please? TY

New: Siri & Shortcuts. Say “Set an alarm in Alarm That Talks”, tell Siri the time and what the alarm should say, and you're done. Ask for your next alarm or turn alarms on and off, hands-free. Tapping our special offer notification now opens the offer. Plus fixes and improvements.
