I don’t even know where to start with how buggy and unoptimized this app is for mobile phone. Charts are very hard to view on a phone. TradingView and yahoo finance have decent charts for phone so it is possible. The short interest chart doesn’t even really work. It will show you the graph but when you click on a chart unit it will not show you the value of it other than price and volume info. Full screen button doesn’t work at all. The little silver buttons under the charts that allow you to extend or contract the timeline are very difficult to touch with your finger and you just end up shifting the chart range instead. When in a stock sometimes clicking to switch from overview to another screen such as news or analysts doesn’t work, that happened just now for me but don’t before so I don’t know how often that occurs. (Just retested this, the issue is that you have to click right on the word in the button rather than the whole button itself) However the desktop website is excellent. I love ORTEX. I would be happy if they would make a desktop app to get around the occasional bugginess on the website that makes you have to refresh when switching stocks to fix the bugginess on charts. Very minor complaint. But would like a dedicated desktop app for such an amazing service. They are also very responsive to all the complaints I’ve sent them about some missing data on all the obscure stocks I trade in and have fixed it very quickly. Very rare that data is missing but it happens and only on the more obscure ones and it was only some of the short selling data. Mobile phone app is meh but the desktop website is excellent and I fully recommend that. Hopefully the mobile app gets better in time.
