Lectio Divina is an ancient form of prayer practiced for centuries by religious communities and individuals alike. We invite you to join and make space for God's Word in your everyday life. Whether you practice Lectio alone, with your family, or in small groups, your relationship with God will deepen through reading His Word. What you'll find in the app: ◆ Daily Gospel — readings each day according to the liturgical calendar ◆ Lectio Divina step by step — a proven prayer method: Lectio, Meditatio, Oratio, Contemplatio ◆ Audio guide — let yourself be led through prayer ◆ Holy Rosary — a complete rosary prayer companion ◆ Calendar overview — easily return to previous days ◆ Daily reminders — notifications so you never forget to pray ◆ Completely free — no subscriptions, no hidden fees The app was created under the patronage of the Diocese of Žilina, Slovakia. Pray. Anytime. Anywhere.

Beautiful Catholic prayer app

I love this app! It’s now my daily prayer routine! You can really take your time with each part or go through them quicker if you’re a mom like me who only has 10 minutes a day. I love that it’s based on the reading of the day and the meditations have honestly made me a better person. They’re simple meditations but they also really make you think and examine yourself. And also this is one of the few apps that is actually free! 10/10 would recommend (I’ve actually sent it to all my mom friends haha)

I’m encouraged more to learn about the Word of God and contemplate the messages and teachings that they convey.

It says it is available in English, however there was no English option to select. I have the Lectio Prayer app 3 times a day, I thought this app would be helpful with that. However, it was not since I don’t speak or read whatever language this is. It would be nice if Apple would not allow developers to make false claims on their applications free or paid, it would save us (the consumers) a lot of time. A 30 minute lunch break is really not that long. And to the developer of spiritual God centered app - to be untruthful when uploading…. And if by chance I somehow missed the option to switch to English after searching, I will be more than happy to change my rating and remove this review. I couldn’t read your description.

Dear friend,Thank you for your honest feedback, and I sincerely apologize for the frustration this caused — especially during a short lunch break. Your time is valuable, and I understand how disappointing this must have been.I want to assure you there was no intent to mislead. English support has just been added in our latest update (version 10.0.0). If your app hasn't updated yet, please check the App Store for an available update — after updating, you'll find the language option in the app's Settings.I truly hope you'll give Lectio Divina another chance. It was built with great care to support daily prayer, and I would love for it to be a helpful companion for your Lectio Prayer practice. If you have any trouble after updating, feel free to reach out directly and I'll be happy to help.God bless you,Dušan – Lectio Divina developer

A morning reminder of the Gospel: choose your time and open today's lectio with audio in one tap. Found a typo or bad audio? Report it right at the step and we will fix it. Press and hold the app icon to jump to today's lectio, the audio or an intention. Invite people close to you – you can now share the app. Select and copy text with a long press. For supporters: lectio 60 days back and 14 ahead, offline for 14 days. Minor fixes.
