This game is addictively fun I love it I do have some suggestions for game play though I don’t know if there’s a way to reflect incoming grenades if there is a way I’m dumb and haven’t found it but if there isn’t then that would be cool to add or like the chance for a soldier to cover himself or jump on top of the grande to save the others and possibly a sandbox or like a historical battle and again I don’t know if there’s a way to change the headgear on your captain. If there is, I haven’t found it. I’m dumb, but if there isn’t that’ll be something cool to add and maybe trench modifications like more concrete dugouts so in short more customization to make it funner and maybe something to do with the grenades like a way to block them or have them move out of the way of the trench, instead of being stationary just to consider but that’s just personal suggestions but this game is amazing. I love it. 5 out of 5 if on steam I will be buying
About premium squads..
AverageGunsUpPlayer
In general, the game is great. A couple complaints, like retreating, ai stupidity, such as not staying on the defensive and constantly attacking, but it’s a great game in general. Except for the premium squads. They’re cool(?) but the only one you’ll EVER need is the sharpshooter. Every other one is useless. Flamethrower has no range and will kill more of your own men than the enemies. Trench raider barely is able to be effective because they get shot before they’re able to do anything. And the sentry has the same issue as the flamethrower, and medic is situational at best. Buff the flamethrower’s range a lot, a make it a little larger than an entrenched rifleman, but have the downside of the flamethrower having less damage as it reaches. Trench raider needs a SMG according to nation, and sentry needs a lot of health. Medic is in general useless and should be made an officer upgrade. Sharpshooter should have limited ammo to handicap it’s incredible range, making the sharpshooter have to go into the trench and off map for a bit to get more ammo before coming back. Those are just my suggestions though, good game anyway.
Good for 1 hour

The game is fun at first. The mechanics and details and strategy is very cool and it offers a lot of diversity in game play and risk. However all that eventually get overlapped by the fact that this game is a very long term game and you will be playing for hours just for the difficulty to stay the same and see basically 2% progress. For me after 2 hours it’s like alright I get it you click the whistle people move, you have your arty with you upgrade and drag and drop, you move troops if you really want…. And rinse and repeat 40 times in 2 hours. I understand there’s some point to be made that slow progress is real progress or wtv. But I feel like this is tooo slow for something that has too much risk in it, it shouldn’t be a spend 100s of hours to max out a single unit just for it to be permanently killed after 1 bad game cause then all that progress you had was useless. With other rage games at least it’s like you learned and you yourself got better but this it’s basically a tycoon that you could lose at any game.
Good game with issues
Clippy #506
Let me start by saying this is a fun little time passer. For what it is, it’s neat. The only real issues I see are with the survival mode. Many of the power-ups are almost entirely useless. The “Better Rations” in particular is absolutely unnecessary, since by the time it comes to have any use, you’ve already been overwhelmed. Also, the “Unexpected Potential” power up has a 1/3 chance to give you a flamethrower unit. Their range is laughable, their damage is extremely underwhelming, and they do damage your other units when they explode upon death. The “Experimental Medicine” which revives your fallen soldiers does NOT apply to your machine gun nests. Once they’re gone, it’s over. Also, don’t even bother with artillery/mortars. You won’t hit the broad side of a barn, and if you do, the damage is rarely lethal. Strafing run is OK once you figure how to use it well, but the 50 second cooldown is harsh. I think the ability to re-roll power ups would cure many of these problems. Other than what’s listed, it’s a decent game. Just needs some tweaking.
Troop skins arrive to give any platoon a new uniform.
Night Raid victories now pay Bonds, shown before you start
Raided platoons now fight with their real stats, specialist and officer
The store can always be opened, and tells you why if it cannot connect
Fixed Discord sign-in, a renaming issue between Officer and Commander, the 2x Bond voucher not activating and several crashes, plus other fixes.
