Assess wheelchair turning space on your plans, include manual-handling risks, and tailor chair dimensions and features to the individual.
It automatically calculates and redraws the turning paths of wheelchairs whenever chair size, turn tightness, or angle of turn is adjusted, and prevents physically impossible placements. The resulting turning space can be positioned on an imported plan to check clearance instantly — tasks that typically require extensive manual work in CAD software.
The app’s main function involves visual comparison of wheelchair turning space with a plan, so it is intended for users with some vision. However, all features are fully available through VoiceOver, with layouts and tools designed specifically for these users. Dynamic text sizes, adjustable color schemes, and line-thickness options are supported.
A built-in help system can be hidden on smaller iPhones to maximise workspace.
