Bringing a plan over from wisepilgrim.com now lands exactly the way you drew it — forks and all. If you chose the path less taken, the app keeps it that way. Travelling on by train or bus? You can now sleep first and catch the morning one, instead of leaving the same day. Not sure where to begin? Every route now comes with sample itineraries — gentle, standard, strong — worked examples to start from and drag about until they're yours. Plus a little housekeeping in the accommodation directory, with a few new beds. Buen Camino!

Measure distances with your finger. Press and hold any stop on the route list, then drag up or down: the distance between the two points follows your finger, along your selected route. Route data corrections across several caminos, including variant colors and distances on the Samos loop of the Camino Frances. Also fixed: a long press no longer opens a place by accident. Past the edge of town it follows the waymarked Camino rather than some unmarked shortcut, and it still points the way when you have no signal. A new resting place on the Francés: Inner Camino House in Viloria de Rioja. Donativo coffee, tea, fresh orange juice, simple food and a moment of calm. Heads-up for early June: several Xunta (regional) albergues close for a single day each between 1–12 June for maintenance. The app now flags every affected albergue with the exact date, so you can plan around it. Offline maps refreshed — if you use them, open Settings and re-download to get the latest.

Walking the Camino with a sense for feet, not meters? New Settings toggle switches every distance in the app between kilometers and miles.
