Guys, I know it’s 2026 and everything is a hustle, but locking your whole experience behind a paywall is not the move. At minimum give a free plan that has ads. I’m not paying $50/yr to find events that are not always free themselves. The $50/yr MIGHT be worth it if the application membership could grant access to paid events, but even then it’s a stretch. Many passionate community-driven car guys (and gals) are broke already given the expensive nature of this hobby. We don’t need another expense here. Do better.

why not make it known first before you make an account that you have to pay for a subscription also i see ads alot the time for this app on instagram why not make it known there first that you gotta pay for a subscription for the app to even use it? and why? why cant it be free all i wanna do is know what car events are happening in my own home town i shouldn’t have to pay an app money to view what is happening in my home town. that would be like me downloading a news apps to see anything around me thats going on but having to pay money to even use the app do yall not understand how stupid as hell that is? if i could give it 0 stars i would nobody should be forced to view events happening in there own state. i wanted to use the app to be able to see if i cant go see some cool cars no wonder its hard to find car events because all the apps that post them want money and nobody wants to pay for it. what a stupid idea for an app.

I downloaded the app after hearing about it on instagram thinking it might be a good way to explore some different scenes in the community. Unfortunately this is not the place to find cool events because this app is merely a money grab. There are plenty of places to find car meets without having to pay $50 per year. I am aware that there are other functions to the app but as far as the route sharing goes that is something you can just as easily do by looking at a map. Moral of the story is that you don’t need to pay to see cool cars and be in the community. This is not why car culture exists. The whole purpose of the community is to support people and make them feel welcomed so that we can project a better image to other motorists and people.

We are the only app in the car culture community that offers 30% revenue share on every paying member a creator, blog, influencer, photographer, mechanic, and any affiliate brings to garageapp on the life of a member. Meaning these people now have a way to make real monthly revenue from a platform. We have other tools like you said, yes variations of these tools can be found elsewhere. The goal was to have everything in one place for car and motorcycle enthusiasts. We also have tools such as guestlists and broadcast functions for event & group admin/organizers so they have full control over real time communication during events/group events. No other platform offers the tools we do for the price we do. We care about the car community as we are all enthusiasts and have a very small team. We looked to the community for support as we continue to better our product and offer more and more tools. We hope you reconsider and reach out to us directly if you have any questions. Thank you!
Money grab

I got this expecting there to be some type of thing i have to buy to use all the features thats expected with apps like this. But to even have a account on here and use the app you have to buy their membership when this is supposed to be about bringing the car community together and make it easier to meet other car enthusiasts but instead you trying to take our money when these meets are free and already posted somewhere for free. This app is a money grab and whoever made this app is an embarrassment to the car community just tryna make some money of everyone instead of bringing them together. Maybe make a free version or no subscription needed. No one wants to pay to see a free car meet that was already posted on instagram for free ten times.
