This app is a complete disappointment and a potential safety hazard. I use CDL Help to prepare for the CDL test, and honestly, it’s infuriating. The test questions and answers are not just incorrect but DANGEROUS. For example, the app states that you can open a hot engine to check some fluid, and it marks this as the correct answer! But just below in the explanation, it contradicts itself and says you should never do that. How can such inconsistencies be allowed in a learning tool, especially when safety is at stake?I paid for this app expecting quality content, but instead, I get nonsense that could cost lives on the road. The questions are misleading, the answers make no sense, and studying becomes a frustrating battle against ridiculous instructions.Developers, fix these mistakes, because with this kind of “learning,” your users are more likely to cause an accident than pass their exams. Right now, CDL Help is nothing more than a paid trap for unsuspecting drivers, not a reliable study tool.

Thank you for your feedback! We understand that some questions might seem counterintuitive at first, but we assure you that all questions in CDL Help are based on official Commercial Driver Handbooks. To verify this information yourself, follow these steps:1. Open Google and search for "California Commercial Driver Handbook".2. Click on the first link, which should direct you to the official California DMV website.3. Open the PDF version of the handbook.4. Go to page 70 (you can use the page selector at the top if you are viewing the page on a computer).5. Find the section titled "Engine Coolant", where this information is explained in detail.Clarification of the question:The handbook states that some vehicles have sight glasses, see-through coolant overflow containers, or coolant recovery containers, which allow drivers to check the coolant level even when the engine is hot. This is why the correct answer in our app states that you can check the coolant level of a hot engine. However, this does NOT mean that you should remove the radiator cap while the engine is hot. The handbook explicitly warns against this, as it can be dangerous due to pressurized steam and boiling coolant. Why this question is included in our database:This specific question and answer format is commonly found on real CDL exams, which is why we have included it in our database in this exact form. While the explanations might need better clarification, the question and the answer are correct and can be found on various exams.Continuous Improvement:We have a very large database of questions, and thanks to valuable feedback like yours, we can identify inconsistencies and make improvements. Based on this, we will be enhancing the clarity of question descriptions and adding more detailed explanations where necessary. We acknowledge that this question may seem unclear at first, and we appreciate your feedback. Our team is constantly working on improving the clarity of our questions, and a major update is coming by the end of the month. If you need further clarification, feel free to reach out to us via email, and we’d be happy to provide additional resources. Your input helps us make CDL Help even better—thank you!

It will be cool if you add a feature that shows whether the test passes or not. Right on the list of quizzes.Because sometimes I was confused about which quiz I passed.

Developer Response
