I started using Hashpack when they announced the iOS Beta. Initially, I kept all my HBARs in an Uphold wallet, but after the wave of wallet scams in 2022, I decided it was time to move away from centralized exchanges. When the opportunity arose to participate in the Hashpack iOS beta, I jumped in.Over time, I’ve watched the iOS beta evolve from a basic wallet that simply displayed my HBARs to a comprehensive tool with NFTs, Dapps, and staking features. In fact, I never would have purchased my first NFT if I hadn’t downloaded Hashpack. In May, I bought Hashpack’s Gold Supporter NFT, which opened my eyes to the potential of NFTs beyond just images—they could be so much more. Throughout the year, I earned coins and NFTs simply by holding that Gold Supporter NFT in my wallet.Fast forward to today, and I now own more Hashpack and HMNKY NFTs than I do coins. Hashpack has been my favorite experience in web3 and DeFi. This wallet is not like MetaMask, which has been my worst experience in crypto so far. Hashpack redefines simplicity and ease of use compared to other wallets. Even my mom was able to set up a Hashpack wallet on her own, whereas she needed my help with MetaMask back in 2020.The ability to create a wallet using either an email or a seed phrase makes onboarding into web3 straightforward for everyone. Here in 2024, I’ve helped onboard both strangers and friends, and they’ve all found Hashpack to be an easy and intuitive experience. I highly recommend giving it a try—the transaction fees are just .008 HBARs, making it an affordable and nearly free way to explore web3.

I’m not a fan of using the email feature as your main key but with self-custody of seed phrase, I’ve had no issues with the wallet and everything is conveniently built-in from swaps to nfts… the devs are always open to conversations and the support is always very responsive (and not some unknown customer service people). Been using for years and I only see improvements in all aspects. I’m only looking to see more utility for their newly dropped $PACK token and staking… and whatever this mystery “Project X” is.

Really cool step toward making HBAR user friendly to the layman. Will be interoperable with Citadel Wallet too from what I understand which would solve my one concern about not being hardware wallet protected. The app is still a little wonky, but but given we’re in brand new territory of streamlining an already relatively new network (hedera) to the layman, I can look past that. I’m more concerned with progress than perfection, and this is a huge leap in the right direction.

I have the 24 word phrase and it kept getting stuck and when I went to go thru my email it said there’s no account under that email now I’m locked out with all my money in there this is a shame and a huge disappointment don’t trust this wallet
