Happy Hunting!
I’m very stoked about this game app. I feel very connected to the monster hunter games. Graphics and character build is the same fun. Takes so much hours to get my character the way I want it. There’s so much things to do and honestly almost too much. The only complaints I have is the builds for your characters. I can’t tell which armor or weapons I have copies of. I cannot tell if I already have them either equipped or even in my storage. So I end up making more armor or weapons than I need to. I can can’t tell. Other than that. I have serious fun on this game. The recruit your own ai team and being able to switch to co-op brings a nice feel of if I want to mingle with everyone or just do my own thing. Everything on this game is going the right path. So not anything really bad to complain about. More so a lot to be happy with. Especially being a mobile game.
Phenomenal. So much to do!

I’m having such a great time just fighting. They don’t have the gunlance (🥺🥺🥺) so I have been having an absolute BLAST with heavy bowgun! There’s so many different gachas and such though, I just hope it doesn’t become pay to win. I don’t get super into gachas like some people (I like my money) but this is the combat I wished Monster Hunter Now had. That combat became so formulaic, I got a strong enough gunlance and could beat any hunt in like 30-45 seconds. This game keeps combat relatively fresh, being able to move around and unleash ultimate attacks and all the things you can build in the overworld and just…. It’s so great for being a mobile game. I can see this game being one of the best mobile games of all time if they play their cards right and continue drip feeding free content on top of the microtransaction stuff! Deserving of 5 stars so far! Blew me away!
FANTASTIC GAME

I was a little hesitant at first, I definitely thought a game of this quality had to be a try before you buy situation. Turns out you can play the entire game for free, with the option of spending money to unlock certain characters or aesthetics faster. The download was an absolute beast, but when I got into the game I realized why. The gameplay is fantastic and far better than just about any other mobile game I’ve played. Skippable cutscenes, fast travel, and many other simple quality of life features allow you to enjoy the real meat of the game, which is the hunts themselves. Not to mention the epic design featured in the world of monster hunter. Overall, I’ve been blown away by this game and still find it hard to believe it’s really free!
Desperately Needs XP Sources

This game, overall, is really really well-made and performans nicely; it’s about what you would expect out of a MonHun game made on/for mobile. However, as the entire playerbase basically is experiencing only 48 hours into the game, there’s a ridiculously huge level cap with regard to XP for your Adventurer Rank (this game’s equivalent of Hunter Rank). XP is extremely finite, and I (along with many, many others) are basically stuck sitting at AR 25 or 26; some people managed to get up to 29. The problem is, once you’ve exhausted pretty much everything the game has to offer for XP, your ONLY sources are Daily Hunts and Daily Challenges that reward maybe about 2,000XP every 24 hours IF you keep up with it (for context, going from AR26 to 27 is about 8,000 or so XP; so, four DAYS to go up by one level IF all goes well). The apparent AR cap is 60, but with where everyone is right now there’s still about 60% of the game locked away behind a time gate (or a huge money sink) for pretty much no good reason. With that, there is one super-super easy fix the devs can implement: After AR20 let Free Hunts and Field Hunts award AR XP. Frees can award 100XP, and Fields can award 50XP. Easy. We already get 100RP (Research Points) for Capturing monsters; why not give AR XP for killing inversely? This would still allow players to progress, while still incentivizing the “pay to progress/win” aspect this game inevitably has (because it’s free to play) with a grind (a slow grind is better than no grind). As is, once you’ve exhausted all your XP sources for the day, there’s almost no reason to continue playing for most people; no consistent playerbase means no money.
