The video quality of the N4 dash camera is very very good, I have no complaints about that. The problem is with the power supply that connects into the fuse panel. With only 3 wires it’s rather difficult to get it wrong. A black ground wire, a red + 12 power wire and an Orange wire that is connected to an ignition on source of power. I have two problems, 1) the power module doesn’t work. I requested a replacement. 2) I was told via e-mail that they would replace it but only if I posted a 5 star review and e-mailed a copy to VanTrue. That is a clear case of bribery. They refused to honor their warranty until I “paid them” with a good review. My review is for the quality of the video, not the company. My review of the company is 1 star. Now about my experience with electric and electronic equipment. I’m not a 20 year old and I’ve been working around electrical and communication equipment for 60+ years. I’ve been very successful and have many years of formal electronics training. I retired from the USCG as Master Chief Electronics Technician, for the non military folks that is the top 1%. After that I worked for a very large electrical company until I retired. I believe that I can properly handle connecting 3 wires in a vehicle properly.

Of course 5 stars , I’ve tried many other dashcams, at least four other brands , where my main concern shopping for a dashcam is to be able to see clear license plate information of the other cars on the road , these other brands all failed to meet my criteria , which eventually led me to this dashcam , Vantrue is the only one that shows clear license plate information as well as zoom clarity , and now I feel confident filming all of my drives , it has also given me four new camera angles, which the cabin view is so joyous for me to capture the memories of my drive , and now I can confidently rely on my dashcam to safely secure all my drives, I only wish I had a larger storage capacity, and an easier way to export my files as they don’t all fit on my phone storage when I extract them to my device , I want to be able to back up everything and not just my favorites, all the footage of every drive is so valuable to me to keep track of and that my Vantrue dashcam makes me feel safe and secure driving

Thank you very much for your outstanding support. The technical support team was extremely professional and responded very quickly. I purchased this camera about 11 months ago and it developed a small issue, but the company handled everything perfectly and replaced it immediately with no complications. The camera has very high resolution, excellent clarity both day and night, and it withstands all weather conditions — whether extreme heat or cold. Honestly, because of the great quality and the excellent service, I’ve decided to buy another camera for my second car from the same brand.Exceptional service that truly deserves five stars. Highly recommended.Thank you for the great customer care and fast assistance

I’ve had the N4 Pro since 2023 and it’s been a solid performer. The camera feels solid in your hand and it always works. I like having the suction cup mount so that I can swap it out of my truck and put it into my sports car when I take it to car shows.I also have a few other accessories so it can hook to my vehicle battery when I want to keep the camera going while being parked at night. And yes, installation instructions for accessories are accurate and the camera operates as they say. Color is truly vivid. I take the videos and import into Final Cut Pro to make videos with ease. I also keep the right wires in my vehicle in case I have an accident and need to replay on the spot. Very nice camera, very happy!
